hi zheilwane or anyone that has experience with vatti...what do you guys think of this hood and hob combo or any other brand that offer similar performance or more value given the price range? i did a quick search in this thread and only few thread abt this new brand too.i am in kota kinabalu sabah so choices are more limited as shops here dont carry many models.

Vatti cooker Hood V937 (RM2999)
➥ Airflow Rate : 2500m3/h European standard 1140 m3/h (turbo 1500m3/h)
➥ Air pressure rate: 1050Pa
➥ BLDC motor. (200Pa power) product input power (203W)
➥ Low noise level 46db
➥ Water-proof motor
➥ Oil filtration rate up to 85%
➥ Steam & hot wash auto clean

and VATTI 3 Burner Gas Hob C830G (RM1899)
➥ 3 burners
➥ 6KW (left & right) 1.6KW (centre)
➥ 99 minutes of independent timer cooking

will be cooking everyday and occasionally do dishes like tonkatsu n steak so consider heavy usage i suppose..i saw on douyin air pressure rate above 1000pa is consider quite strong..is 85% oil filtration enough in real world situation? never use kitchen hood b4 as live in terrace with traditional open wet kitchen. i saw on vatti fb they have a new model v919 that says oil filtration up to 92% but price is much much higher.. i m open to any type as kitchen (landed) is fully hacked and rebuild from scratch. thanks

when buying hood, dont see only suction power, T shape hood is definitely not as good as slanted hood. Many brands suction power over rated in Malaysia. GO see actual product, ask them turn on smoke generator to see and compare. If u wan value for money and good performance, go check out Fujioh LW2490 and also GS3030 hob, price cheaper than this Vatti. But if u need 3 burners extra wide + timer than your only option is this Vatti model.

For fotile i can ship to east malaysia but fujioh cant, so if wanna consider Fotile can text me but if want Fujioh can find in Sabah

This is not my company, i just help check in fujioh website for location

Do contact them first before going, i guess they dont have display yet as this model jus arrived KL and SOLD OUT already, waiting next shipment

Seriously for members with budget not more than RM 4k (HOOD + HOB SET), this is definitely a good buy Fujioh LW2490 + Fujioh gas hob or electric hob is also less than RM 4k, very affordable

Hi, would like advise from sifus here:

I live in high rise so hacking vent through wall is out of the question.

Can recommend a good recirculating type hood, for someone who cooks quite regularly (no deep fry/super smoky food, but a lot of strong smelling spices/aromatic like onions)

thanks for the detailed n swift reply..may i ask y fujioh cannot ship to east malaysia ?..i watched ur video review about fujioh 2090v and that model should be in the more expensive category rite? assuming no budget constraint, which other hood model would u recommend if wanna compete with fujioh 2090v ? i do agree with u that newer models nowadays with more of the fancy functions means higher chance of breaking down n lower lifespan. since fujioh 2490 is so new there seem to be just one simple review done by u ..now i m torn between 2490 vs 2090 .... to clean 2490 motor is it similar to this FOTILE AMG9007I OR X SERIES https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LRgWj_OACk u posted? meanwhile 2090 will be like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V9JTNFvP8Y&t=15s .how long can the coating n filter for 2090 last or need to be change assuming cook daily with reasonable cleaning practice? and 2090 being AC motor in real world situation is the noise really that much louder till become annoying compare to say the newer dc motor 2490 ? and looking at the specs i should be comparing 240V rite? Though u said dont just look at the suction power but how is 2090 real world performance compare to 2490 since its numbers in every mode is significant lower than 2490 yet the price is almost double factoring in the pre launch promo price for 2490....sorry for the long questions but really appreciate n looking forward to your opinion. thanks

1) Fujioh LW2490 price is very affordable, as the price is not high after adding shipment cost, it is just not worth getting from me in KL

2) Fotile on the other hand price is higher and the price difference between east malaysia seller and KL seller is quite big, so after adding shipment cost, it is still cheaper to get from KL. However buying 3 or 4 products will make the shipment cost more economical such as cost for sending Hood + hob around rm 700 but hood + hob + oven + dishwasher may b rm 800 to 900. So if you have friends wanna buy in bulk from KL confirm u can save $$

3) if SC2090 then is different story as the price is high like fotile so is worth buying from me ahahha. If compare cleaning wise, SC2090 is the only hood that you can easily take out the sirocco fan and clean it. Those auto-clean actually cant really clean, just help to reduce only. However, if comparing suction power LW2490 and AMG9007i is more superior to SC2090. FYI, SC2090 is more expensive than FOTILE amg9007i

First do you plan to build a cabinet above your hood? If yes then only option Fujioh FS2290 or SC2090 best or budget MS2390. If no need cabinet, top is open then u can target chimney hood with carbon filter such as Fotile AMG9007i, DE&E hpj98 or Fujioh LW2490, these i feel very powerful but if not installed correctly, it will not work (such as covering the outlet with cabinet or ceiling)

i see...then in real world how often do one really need to ask technician to come do the deep cleaning or diy like the fotile amg9007 clip assuming everyday cook and medium-heavy usage (such as grill salmon/steak/thin 3 layer pork)? i assume all the build up in the motor will reduce the hood performance and might even have unpleasant odour ? i have never use hood b4 so no idea at all...and will 2090 suction power enough to reasonably handle the usage i mentioned?

oil build up but does reduce performance as most of the oil wont stick on the fan blades, as they are non stick coated and rotating at high speed, oil will splash and stick at the side.

But over 5-6 years, more and more oil build up inside, it will cause unpleasant odour and that is the time u get someone to deep clean it. SC2090 suction power is not high but because of the bulky design, it actually traps smoke from escaping, hence more efficient and does not require too strong power

so for the new model 2490, even if i cook daily as long as i wipe the bottom glass daily after cook and clean the oil filter tray and use the "120c heat cleaning" occasionally , normally also few years later only need to get someone to deep clean rite ?

hi everybody.

would like to get some recommendations for:

1. combi induction ceramic hob (70cm x 40cm horizontal)
Normal cooking only, no big frying etc.

2. built in oven (60cm x 60cm)
As basic as possible. Don't need fancy functions.

house already came with Electrolux hood and gas hob.
planning to add built-in oven into the cabinet that supposed to store gas tong. change the gas hob to electric. keep the hood.

any good recommendations for RM2k - RM2.5k for both?

Any thoughts on Fujioh LW2490 vs SD2290 please? Both V version. Thanks!

What is the current [ampere] requirement for Induction hob with 2.2kW rating? Is the normal 13A sufficient?

When the induction hob is rated at 2.2kW, does it mean both induction plates combined, or just one?

how to calculate amp

2200 watt / 240v = 9.2amp so 13amp no problem

if dont need stock urgently and got extra $$ to spare ofcoz go for LW2490 la, my current two value for money with good suction and design

Fujioh LW2490 and DE&E HPJ98, in love with these two design kekek and the price very tempting hahah. Dont understand why some customers still believe T shape hood can b better and pay more for regular T shape design.

RIH-REKKA44-BL
Induction-Horizontal
Energy Power (kW):
F: 2.0
R: 2.2

https://www.rubine.com.my/product/RIH-REKKA...YdzIxE0ywalFs2Y

I asked Chatgpt, it says F for front and R for rear. This is part that I dont understand because this is not a domino layout. So there is no front or rear plate.

So if calculate using the formula, F will be 8.33 A and R will be 9.17 A. Total would be 17.5A assumning we use both plates.
