If install cooker hood still need ventilating/exhaust fan? Previous owner left behind their small exhaust fan. Planning to use the hole for cooker hood instead of making a new one

The main purpose is to prevent rain water from entering. If cannot use the round one that flat one will do just fine. Mine quite similar to that flat. No problem.

It will not. Once fume is suck into hood, it goes through hood. The only way to disturb is to blow fan directly to your hobs Ventilation or ceiling fan is far and not strong enough to disturb flow of air from hobs to hood.

Installing hood with windows nearby? Then why need hob if can just use vent fan through the windows

The reason for hood is to vent out cooking odor and oil/water vapor out of the kitchen. If you put your hood near the windows, the hood will not only suck air from the hobs but also from outside of the windows thus lowering the suction effectiveness.

I would put my hobs/hood away from windows. The best is to have one way air flow direction. Another reason to avoid hobs near windows is that I'd rather clean my flat splash wall than cleaning windows. It is much easier

Mine came with the hood. I bought short aluminum flexible hose and then connect to a long PVC pipe (about 15') to the wall and put the cap out there

but shopee is around 1.4k tho.

But after ship to east my almost same price hehe.

But now the problem my parent wants had stand like table stove, cause they prefer that way zzx, any stove had leg version?

No, like table gas hob, what they want is the 78211 with small docking legs like those normal butterfly table stove. How do i find those with fit those criteria. Ngl my parent are karen which hard to please.



I told them i dont think newer stove fit these criteria, teka have those but i read review teka had many negative review. They insist the 78211 is hard to clean easy rust if water drip between the table and the stove cause “no legs”.

I said why not just buy some docking and put in beneath the stove. Then start rambling said why do have to pay something when doesnt comes in with legs. Start karen mode complain cut cost not enough choices for fotile. Currently they complain the stove fire not enough fire, now complain the 78211 dont have legs. Looking at livinox to find suck criteria.
