For existing 60cm width hood with built-in cabinet type, does it means i can only go for same 60cm hood for replacement? or what is the alternative without adjusting the cabinet beside hood? Thanks

You are better off buying a table top hob.... built in hobs are meant to be BUILT IN for a reason

some brands like livinox certain model comes with stand, so can put on table top, some cant, if yours cant then add something at the bottom like rugger stopper to raise up the hob 2-3cm for ventilation

Ya but since brought then try to fix it. Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I found built in hobs seems no difference from normal hobs, just that it enable clutter-free and seamless design.

Ya thanks for sharing, planning to do so too. Just wonder any downsides doing so. Last move hack hole if it's really not recommended.

it depends how high is ur table top, if ur table is 850mm+- then u should cut a hole n built in, if not it will b too tall.
if u made it 800mm or lower than memang it is meant for table top, add something to raise the hob up a little

According to Builders Hardware, GAG86309 using a better tempered glass, wider in size, easy to clean and have better safety feature yet the performance still similar to GHG78312. You can watch the video below for better understanding.
