Dear sifu sifu , i need to buy all of these below in 2 weeks for the renovation and cabnet design.

please recommend me a gas hob and hood combination around RM 4k.

Im deciding between oven (2.5k) or any grill/steam oven combi (5k)? this is the price im willing to spend, im kinda confused when i googled steam oven. it looks some only have steam only.

Basically i dont care much about the function (mostly mother used), i want something stylish, durable, easy to clean and operate.

Please recommend me a build in microwave below 1k as well.

dear ts, need a hob , hood and oven combo. Budget around 6 to 7k.
Gas stove preferred

Any other good oven brand beside Fotile? Hardly read any comments about their oven. Mostly ppl said Bosch, Electrolux.

Looking for something which is rust and scratch and resistant and easy cleaning as well which means that something beautiful and less hassle.

I notice that the surface of the hob are shiny and glass look alike, will it scratch?

when getting feedback, best to get it from actual users. Many ppl recommend a brand because they heard of it before but whether it is good or not, u need to use it to tell. Here is my review on the fotile ksg 7007a oven. FOTILE occasionally provide FREE cooking classes, so u can test out their ovens, check their FB announcement. IF their products are not good, they wont dare to give free classes for customers to test smile.gif

1. Glass Door
-Triple Glazed door with LOW-E Glass, heat reduction is better compared to regular tempered glass
- Most oven doors have ventilation holes at the top facing inside the oven, so it is possible that oil gets blown into the door and trapped in between the layers of glasses. Fotile ventilation holes are hidden behind the black panel, preventing oil from getting into the glass

2. Visibility
- Most oven has the light bulb at the back, hence it is not bright enough, if you are baking or roasting, it will be blocking the light.
Fotile on the other hand has the light bulb placed at the middle (front).

3. Wide coverage of heating,
As per photo the heating element covers almost 90% of the width of the oven while some brands 60 - 80%.

Hi, Currently I am using built-in gas hob via pipe in gas & I plan to change to an induction hob with a minimum of 2 burners/elements.
Are there any difference whether it's '+' or round shape burners/elements? Electrolux has 2 models - EHI7260BA '+' shape (https://www.lazada.com.my/products/electrolux-70cm-built-in-induction-hob-ehi7260ba-i420950543-s612270483.html?spm=a2o4k.seller.list.2.30c81df5EkfZtp&mp=1) & EHC726BA round shape (https://www.lazada.com.my/products/electrolux-70cm-built-in-induction-hob-ehc726ba-i422509985-s615579730.html?spm=a2o4k.seller.list.6.30c81df5EkfZtp&mp=1)

This is my 1st time having induction hob, are Electrolux or Rinnai having durable & efficient induction hobs?
I am looking into the above mentioned 2 Electrolux models, Rinnai Rinnai RB-7002H-CB & Rinnai RB-7013H-CB.
As for durability of glass hob & other parts, I am not sure which warranty to opt for.
Electrolux provides 1 year general warranty + 10 years glass top.
Rinnai provides 2 years warranty for all.

Would appreciate feedback.
Thank you.

From what i know RINNAI RB7002H has already been discontinued.

Regarding glass quality, cant tell but from what i know, Schott Ceran is one of the better brand and used by most branded electric hobs including rinnai/fotile/senz and etc but electrolux website did not specify what brand it is using. Electric hobs manufacturers do not manufacture their own ceramic glass, usually purchase from other companies.
So if u ask me, i would say RInnai ceramic glass should b better.

As for the + or 0 i guess mainly is design.

Heating wise : Electrolux shows total 3200watt while rinnai is 4200watt (not including the middle zone of 1500watt)

Electrolux 10 years warranty is only for gas hob, not INDUCTION and i believe there are many T & C to it.

After comparing the few points above and looking at the price both brands are +- similar, i would go for rinnai

Hi Zheilwane,
Thank you for the clarification.

Renovation on my kitchen will only be in mid March.
Currently we are using a microwave/convection oven but plan to change to a built-in oven. Are there any specific features/specification (ie. glass) to look for? Would appreciate if you can recommend a built-in oven with an average price of RM2k. What do you think of Fotile KSG7007A & Rinnai RO-E6208TA-EM?

This afternoon drop by at the shop. Zean was there.
After good explanation, I end up purchased Fotile hob & hood. To be exact EMS 9020 & GCG 3 burner type (can't remember the code 😅).
For me Fotile offering products without too many marketing gimmicks.
Others like ionizer, turbine oil removal by heat, timer for hob in actual less practical in real life.
This my personal opinion.

Hi there,

Looking for a hood for my kitchen, though not sure about the after sales and service of the item. My location is Kota Bharu, if that makes a difference. Can anyone suggest me a hood.

Is this elba good?
http://www.elba.com.my/product/eh-d9161slbk/

Also, is oil filter better compared to self cleaning systems?

Elba has oil filter, LIVINOX has self cleaning system.

Actually self cleaning confirm wont work, discussed before here in the thread, nd to find back. May b help to reduce a bit of oil build up but definitely unable to clean the hood

RUbine has similar function but they name it as h2meltz instead of auto clean as it is a little misleading
