Anyone here using Fotile JQG9009 hood? Can share some comment here?

How i hope i see this thread much earlier..

I bought a senz hobs.. paid , so no need to think already.
But i haven't decide the hood.

Rarely cook, the sales person who sold the senz cooker recommended us to take the kitch brand hood, said it's the sister company of senz,
Twin turbo, around 2k,

Advise to take or any sifu can recommend something better?
Need installation as well..
We had confirmed our condo can do ducting.

U can see zheilwane post few pages back on this hood. I'm using JQG9009s but it still on completion of my KC instalation so can't comment much yet. ☺️

I see...so how much did you pay for it? The seller offer me a display unit and it is RM 2100. I guess it is a good deal?

New unit at Rm2200.

Display unit should be lower than 2k.

Do you mind share me where can i get it at RM2200? Better pay a bit more for new unit.

Hi, anyone using Rinnai RB-72G gas hob and/or RH-C779-SB hood? Any reviews on these 2 products? Or what's the feedback in general for Rinnai's gas hobs and hoods?

Hob :
Advantages
1) Flame Power : Strong
2) Maintenance : Easy to clean
3) Removable burner and seal burner design
4) Flexi cut out

Disadvantages
1) Burner diameter too big causing huge heat loss at maximum power for medium size pot (below 23cm diameter), if using wok then it is OK.
2) Unable to control inner and outer ring low flame at the same time (same for most hobs except fotile GCG series hobs)
3) Burners distance a little narrow for big pots and woks, due to flexi cut out design (have to leave extra space on the sides for flexi cut out)


Hood:
Never test on it and not much detail spec online but suction 1000m3/h nothing great about this hood. However, the baffle filter design is better than other models using mesh. RH-C809-GB should b a better choice

Is the gas sealed burner good?
Fotile with EPS have this gas sealed burner?

Fotile GAG and GCG series are sealed burner design while Rinnai RB-2GI is not, it is inner flame design

THe reason to get seal burner design is to prevent over spill getting into the hob

maybe we are not a chef, but easy cleaning will be a must... hehhee
