The seller said it got SEA warranty , so can i claim warranty in Malaysia oso? Bcause as i know, only local set can claim warranty here.

Coming into effect Thursday 14 November, the new warranty service offers a one-year free repair service to those who buy the PS4 or PlayStation Vita in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

The consoles can be serviced in any of the six countries, which is a boon for PS Vita users who may travel with their console and need the device repaired while overseas.

The same benefits of course, do not extend to those with PS4’s or PS Vitas bought outside these countries.

This is a clear cut saying that these console can be warranty in any of these 6 countries.

Ur question might need to be more specific, e.g.

1. Can I claim ps4 warranty without official Sony or authorised retail game shop receipt?
2. Who shall I look to if the Sony Malaysia Staff reluctant to accept my warranty claim?

Actually some of the units bought from Focus Stores don't have the sticker as well right? Yea if warranty is a main concern then get it directly from Sony for a peace of mind.

I never buy consoles from focus stores here because I don't trust them. They sell stuff they are not suppose to sell & I heard some guy who bought a PS4 from a focus stores here, having a lot of trouble claiming warranty from them. They refer him to Sony & Sony refer him back to the focus store. It's like they are playing ping pong with the guy!

Paying a bit more for warranty & peace of mind is worth it, IMO.

Sorry man, didn't ask for price, but very sure there as there were 2 Killzone Bundle and 2 Basic Set available when I went there yesterday. It's a small game shop right beside Mac City.

Not sure, but saw some Wave Blue DS4 in the display. Not sure for sale or not. Gamers Corner and the game shop beside Novacell have no stocks at all. GH has stocks only for black and is RM238 for non members. Mostly everywhere run out of stock already.
