This is why I buy from Sony Malaysia.

I knew they will do this to protect their own interest.

I never buy consoles from focus stores here because I don't trust them. They sell stuff they are not suppose to sell & I heard some guy who bought a PS4 from a focus stores here, having a lot of trouble claiming warranty from them. They refer him to Sony & Sony refer him back to the focus store. It's like they are playing ping pong with the guy!

Paying a bit more for warranty & peace of mind is worth it, IMO.

I heard from a friend that regional warranty is only applicable if you have official invoice from Sony or from authorised dealers.

Anything less and they won't entertain any claims for warranty.

Only for R1 version.

I emailed Ubisoft about this & they said there is no such promotion for Asia.

Better you buy from sony style curve then some "authorized sony seller" because some of those sellers cannot be trusted.

I found out why EA games suddenly so expensive. It seems that the local distributor for EA, the Software Boutique is closing down & there are unconfirmed reports that EA Singapore is shutting down as well.

According to the reports, all EA game distribution will be made in Hong Kong from now on.

did you see the price on psn or not? in Malaysia psn, the price for BF4 is RM230...

Previously EA R3 games were in the RM160-RM170 range. Now with the local distributor gone from Malaysia, the price of EA games is now much higher.

I play killzone also can hear fan sound but other game like Knack, the fan is quiet.

I think killzone uses a lot of processing power which makes the fan louder then usual.

my ps3 slim is very quiet compared to ps4.

Focus stores are not under Sony Malaysia. They are under SCEJA.

Complain to SCEJA about their ridiculous price & have their focus store status revoked.

if you want Malaysia set with extended warranty then buy from sony store. you can 1 to 1 exchange with sony Malaysia in case anything goes wrong.

if you buy from gh or elsewhere, you may get it cheaper but if anything goes wrong, you will have a lot of trouble with warranty.

If you want the best experience, it is better to play the game on PS4.

If you bought FF XIV for PS3 last year, you will get the PS4 version for free.
