WHat so loud at 80km/h? the car is so quiet when Im driving on 80km/h. Starting from 90km/h noise level increae just a bit. Above 100 engine roar slightly more. above 30km/h I only consider it as roar.  rclxms.gif

Proton good in the sense of comfort, stability, handling. Bad in QC, interior. Again, 50k, what should we expect? LOL. Best deal in town already la.
*
Noise levels is memang quite decent. But engine over 3.5K RPM it starts to get a little loud. It feels better though with Ceratec and with a better engine oil. Now it's smooth when rising, still loud, but not as bad as last time.

got any advices for 1st time go for service center?
thanks  blush.gif

Some say to avoid the X1R engine treatment and the magnetrap (magnet device around the oil filter) which will sometimes be given secretly during your first service. But it's up to you to decide whether you want them or not. I would probably accept the Magnetrap but not the engine treatment considering its nature and the engine break-in process. hmm.gif

Thanks bro.
Notice that when I tear that plastic wrapping out, some black colour sticky thing came out n cant seemt to remove all of the plastic sheet. Quite worried might suffer water leakage in the future.
*
Is the plastic semi opaque? Or is it the kind of cheap plastic like totally transparent book wrappers?

QUOTE(SoccerIsMyLife86 @ Mar 6 2014, 01:40 PM)
My ride is white & I love it!
*
You will cry when all of those black stains appear on your car and can only be removed either through polishing or through the usage of a cleaner wax cry.gif.

If you're not sure, just go accs shop, ask them to open the door cover and ensure the weather sheet remained intact. The single sheet should be gummed at all the side covering the entire door. If not, accs shop tech can easily gum them up as they usually have to remove sheet to replace parts like windows motor, gun lock, etc. If sheet koyak, accs shop also have replacement.
*
Not all I guess.. The one I went to actually used a plastic sheet cut out from something to use as a weather sheet replacement. It works but it's not nice.

Guys, my Persona seems to be struggling to get up to speed whenever my aircon is on. With aircon on, driving around 90+, the car seems to be vibrating and jerking, like the engine is going to stop anytime. Sometimes it might have a slight jerk also without aircon. I used to have problem with the car jerks when i'm driving around 120, no respond from the throttle, then after awhile the power comes back, but it continues after i stop the engine and start it again. Anyone has this problem before?
*
Not me. What is the mileage of your Persona?

Now still discussing the place to test the wipers again and to get an exchange accordingly sleep.gif.

Is there any pantang larang for new car? Like no rev up to 3rpm while under 1000km?
Because I have done quite a number of times.
Worried this is not good for new engine that needs time n mileage to run in.
Pls advice dear sifus.
*
http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Summary: Rev your engine across the entire range to help it break in properly to get the max power output; Do not do sudden rev changes, instead do gradual rev increase; do not keep at a certain speed only, drive the car at various speed ranges including over 120KM/H 140KM/H ke apa.

Edit: Just to add-on, the article also says to release the throttle for the engine braking to "suck" the metal particles produced by the contact between metal parts.

Yeah, lifetime warranty but only if you have a full service record kan? hmm.gif Kinda pointless cause most people zao lou to workshops instead.

Do you try switching wiper from your abah car onto yours. See if still judder.
*
Don't dare to try on his car. sleep.gif I tried on kennywee92's car and his SWV silicon wipers started juddering after I put mine on his. Mine also juddered on his, albeit not as bad as on mine. Both also judder only when wet. He says his wipers never juddered before, and it only started after I tested the Aero Vogues on his car sweat.gif.

My screen also got rainx (faded a bit liao coz over half a year) before I used the new wiper.

Right now after testing on kenny's car I'm almost convinced that the wiper blades themselves are the problem, but now the seller has arranged for the wipers to be tested again next Monday before agreeing to an exchange. sleep.gif

hard to tell if it is caused by wipers. it might be the rain x left over on the windscreen.

But i do advise you clean the windscreen completely using water mark removal.

I use this one
https://forum.lowyat.net/uploads/attach-55/...62873_thumb.jpg

It really does the job well. But need a lot of strength to rub/scrub the windscreen. Better use good material cloth to avoid scratches on windscreen.
ALSO THE SMELL IS STINK!

Clean until you do not see rain x effect on the windscreen(spray water on it, and the windscreen is covered by water)
*
I tried also on another Persona that has not used RainX before, and the same problem appeared... I have already clayed, cleaned, wiped the windscreen down with IPA, and even polished it with windscreen polish and a polishing tool and confirmed that the water sheets instead after that before putting the wipers on again and raging when the problem appeared again.

brows.gif You are the cause of the juddering.
*
Yah. Habis. sleep.gif I'm suspecting that the juddering is something to do with the coating of the Aero Vogues, since he says his SWV silicon wipers started juddering only after I put the Aero Vogues on his car, and not before. I also clayed and cleaned his windscreen with 99% IPA.

Ironically, the wipers judders only when there's water, and does not when it's completely dry. sleep.gif Put more water habis. That day when it finally rained, I was on the way to KL. sleep.gif Heavy rain, and heavy juddering.

I still need it cause it doesn't always bead completely.. sometimes the water just sheets at certain parts and I have to use the wiper to clear it off.

If you paid RM2xx for those things and it wasn't working on the very first day / week, would you not complain? sleep.gif I didn't pay RM2xx to get a screwed up wiping system. So far already delay close to a month after waiting for test changing this and that and now more wait for the seller.
