QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Jan 20 2014, 04:31 PM) Well for lube, linearly but once filter is clogged to the brim (depending on driving condition, dust, humidity, too long idle coz having too much fun at backseat, etc), it will open safety mode....the bypass....meaning no filteration at all.For cheapo unbranded OEM, if clogged, don't know got bypass or not...if no bypass, mati liao....coz lube not flowing. But then again if change in short interval, risk of clogging mostly likely would not exist. Trying putting your lube in fridge then used in engine (hot mar, so equal toast), then tell us your engine macam mana in 3 days...........----> see can achieve ckdenion engine result or not.....I meant the first engine. This is too extreme until i go back googled verify it's working then only i dare to buy from him... This post has been edited by voscar: Jan 20 2014, 04:53 PM |

QUOTE(voscar @ Jan 20 2014, 04:52 PM) wa, this is very safe, can filter out the possibility of getting "fake" proton oil filter somemore. There are performance filter outside. Not sure how they got performance into there. However some are long life filters that did better than the original. Unfortunately I don't know which one is compatible to ours and really is long life, so safe bet, SC. that spare-part shop i went, the uncle boss always got alternatives 1 when the part i want out-of-stock. for proton oil filter i got Proton > AMP > OEM brand for audi oil filter i got bosch > Mercedes brand. This is too extreme until i go back googled verify it's working then only i dare to buy from him... Oil filter even when bought from SC is not expensive, only RM12.22, original air filter, Rm16.71. So just change oil filter every 5K and air filter every 10K. Less than RM30, peace of mind and great performance boost (in terms of no reduction in performance ala those used for double the period). Can't do that for cars like Honda city tho...ni a ma...air filter cost RM70....have to last 20K. Oil filter RM30, double of ours.....last same 5K.
