QUOTE(voscar @ Mar 21 2014, 02:47 PM) isn't that engine slows quicker with N gear? Yup. I noticed that too since I always shift to N before slowing to a stop completely.sometime when come to traffic light, i feel my car brakes better when on N gear. tried manually pull to 3rd or 2nd, the braking response not as great as in N gear... |

QUOTE(mjeeva03 @ Mar 21 2014, 07:18 PM) my persona is 1st batch 2007 model. its almost 7 years. i wanna repaint. now its original black color. i planing to change silver color. wanna change sport rim also. wanna check absober/spring and EU system also. Respray (outer body only) - Roughly around RM2000 or so for a Persona. Remember for respraying you get what you pay for, so don't try to save or you may/will regret it.. just like I did. Choose the paint shop carefully. A set of front and rear shocks for the Persona will cost you about between RM350 ~ RM400 if you're buying them from spare parts shop. There are a few to choose from like Kayaba, APM and Sachs. What's an EU system?Where can i bring my car to fix all of this. Cost lebih kurang berapa? You can bring your car to any workshop and they should be able to get the job done. But as usual for workshop choose one that you frequent so that you won't get chopped. If you don't have one that you trust, I suppose the best bet is still to bring it to a Proton service center or something. If you're able to travel to Sungai Buloh, I could suggest a shop there that resprays car. The price there is slightly on the higher side (got quoted RM2400 last time for a full outer body respray, 2K metallic; 3 layer base and clear), but they have demonstrated how they paint their cars, and it's done in great details, unlike the one that I went to at Subang Jaya / USJ last time. P.S I'm still pissed off at the paint job quality my car got from <insert> even though it's at least one and a half years already. |

QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Mar 21 2014, 08:13 AM) dun forget Compro engine prefer Petrol Caltex, BHP and Petron, try to avoid Petronas and Shell, my >3 years PE still can easily feel the different between Caltex and Petron. Caltex good ah for Persona? Petron is good for Persona?Bro u pump 97 or 95? Hehe...i usually pump shell or petronas, dont really press the petal to save fuel so dono the difference. Just looking for the fuel that gives me the most mileage. |

QUOTE(SoccerIsMyLife86 @ Mar 21 2014, 07:50 PM) Caltex good ah for Persona? Petron is good for Persona? there are some member here prefer Petronas and Shell too, but most people here also mention Caltex give you good power and Esso/Mobil can travel longer distance, but now no more Esso/Mobil Bro u pump 97 or 95? Hehe...i usually pump shell or petronas, dont really press the petal to save fuel so dono the difference. Just looking for the fuel that gives me the most mileage. All Fuel mention here are Ron 95, Ron 97 for Campro engine will not give you much different than pump in Ron95. with the heavy body of Persona very difficult not to press pedal especially from stop to move, the fuel itself already can make the difference without mod'ing others parts. so try your self to figure out which suitable for your drive style, for more accurate result try each brand at least 2 full tank continuously, than you can judge.
