QUOTE(Unknown86 @ Mar 5 2014, 11:18 PM) technologies referring to campro iafm ... drive by wire... etc ... used to drive 19 year old wira around.... Oh.....I never tot of if as tech coz after owning other makes, these "tech" are a bit dated. For me, IAFM is sort of a plaster to fix the design defect of campro, did not consider it as an "advance tech". Ini kereta, just treat it like your wira except your wira probably comes with a dated but better long lasting Mitsubishi engine. This post has been edited by Cavino: Mar 6 2014, 09:10 AM

QUOTE(SoccerIsMyLife86 @ Mar 5 2014, 06:53 PM) Indeed you are right. I read someone posted about not to remove the plastic wrapping on the front 2 doors to avoid water leakin into the car? Is that correct? How to improve the FC of this car? Any other SV users out there? As TD mentioned, its the weather sheet plastic INSIDE the door panel/cover that should not be removed. Not the plastic covering the external door panel. Itu new car plastic, can tear anytime. Same with cars of all makes.

QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Mar 6 2014, 11:07 AM) Nope. Wear and tear items. Stock brake pads for disc brakes are OK except for the bloody brake dust. You can get rim colouring of metal gun from afar. Quite nice...

QUOTE(SoccerIsMyLife86 @ Mar 6 2014, 01:39 PM) Thanks bro. Notice that when I tear that plastic wrapping out, some black colour sticky thing came out n cant seemt to remove all of the plastic sheet. Quite worried might suffer water leakage in the future. If you're not sure, just go accs shop, ask them to open the door cover and ensure the weather sheet remained intact. The single sheet should be gummed at all the side covering the entire door. If not, accs shop tech can easily gum them up as they usually have to remove sheet to replace parts like windows motor, gun lock, etc. If sheet koyak, accs shop also have replacement.

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Mar 6 2014, 02:18 PM) Not all I guess.. The one I went to actually used a plastic sheet cut out from something to use as a weather sheet replacement. It works but it's not nice. Ah...same same lar. as long it works. Who is going to open up your door panel and then appreciate your car?

There are 2 contradictory theory on engine run in. One being you have to rev kau kau in order for the engine piston ring or whatever to seal in. The other is go slow slow, so engine parts takes its time to "mold" itself into each other.
I follow the second theory, of go slower. IMO only, the first theory also might be correct but that did not take into account possible damage to other engine components such as piston/wall, etc. Since all my other cars performing well into their eighth years with tip top performance using the 2nd method, I will continue to do so.
While its optimal to drive over different speed range, I find it quite difficult to do so in real life traffic condition, so I just run as usual, no taking any particular caution except not to rev over 110km/h if possible, at least within 1K mileage.

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Mar 7 2014, 02:32 PM) If you paid RM2xx for those things and it wasn't working on the very first day / week, would you not complain? I didn't pay RM2xx to get a screwed up wiping system. So far already delay close to a month after waiting for test changing this and that and now more wait for the seller. Haha....I know I would be complaining day in and out like a hag......did it a lot when I encountered problem with PE.

QUOTE(RuL3s @ Mar 7 2014, 02:32 PM) Searched back Persona club's old threads seemed like got some negative feedback about the foam used. But the seller quote me 1000++ is that the same cheap foam? Thanks~ From what I know chassis foam usually weight down the car noticeably. With car like City with large amt of low end torque, its not a big issue but with PE with its already insufficient low end torque vs very heavy weight ratio, some would regret it..

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Mar 10 2014, 11:14 AM) explosion auto car care no.15, ampang avenue 3. He carries 3 brands of lubricants, but I personally recommend you to take the Eneos Racing Molybdenum 10w40. and.... he doesn't take appointment one... From what I know, any lube with the word Racing is not really recommended for daily drive although it can be used. It tends to have MORE anti-wear addictive but MUCH LESS cleaning/detergent addictive. Thus its not balance for non racing drive as its gear more towards performance protection but disregard the long term life of the engine.

Go buy at SC lar, its really cheap cheap only. I got both original oil filter with washer and air filter from SC. The cheap price does not worth the petrol and time to search elsewhere for original.

Hah...ini macam one night stand philosophy.... Go for a one night performance (wooooooohooooo) but don't know if later contracted STD or not....later only know especially if its AIDS.
