Yep, the auto tranny took abt 30-40hp off vs CVT 20hp at most.

Actually I drove the City, my wife Wira since working in Port Klang with lots of lorry, cheaper car ok liao with stone splurting around. Then Wira kaput, my wife pregnant at that time, so I borrow her my City. I took newly purchased PE (meant for her to replace Wira). After giving birth, she keep saying City so strong pickup, quiet, nice to drive (EPS steering, light) and smooth (gearless).

When drive PE, she complained heavy, no power, noisy, etc. When I suggest changing car back, she go dark face and say "ok lor, you take it back lar"....

You think I gonna take back the City and live in hell after that kah....I not stupid ler....

Anyway PE is a good highway speeding car and since I drove on highway 40% of the time....I decided to "give" my car to her lor...ini macam company force takeover punya feeling....

With City I consistently get 14-15km/l, with PE, abt 11km/l. City really save abt 100km per full tank...

Aish....my car say 10 days boleh siap. 7 days liao, still new bonnet and bumper repainting only. Car not even repair yet, radiator not replaced.

That means at least another week wait after today. Worry my shiny car comes back inside and outside also dusty liao. My poor engine just polished a couple of months ago. Hopeful my VS and LCP tak kena curi.

Don't make me scared lar. Only change radiator and related items in the engine only. Last time I see the non-approved list (pending adjuster evaluation), they also request change on both my front light (kaki patah kot), bumper, bonnet, proton logo, grill lots of radiator related items. Hopeful got no air panas after this. Still regret why that day follow so close when I normally keep my distance...now I got phobia of following closely even during jam....got lots of ppl jam queue in front..

Mana ada....we all cakap change LCP also cannot win City lar...but better than kura kura acceleration that basikal can accelerate faster...

Light weight Crank Pulley or Lighten Crank Pulley

For cheaper Work Engineering LCP (most of us are using it), abt RM350 to RM400. A better option if you got the dough is Mytheo LCP with dampener for lesser vibration at RM550 (that's what I aimed earlier if not for mistaken pricing of RM700 and above).

Faster gear change means car does not drag or bog down by gear ratio for auto tranny. It brings forward the torque curve of PE thus increase low end torque but lower the pickup strength at very high speed (how many did I reach that high speed, probably nil). Increased vibration and engine noise. RPM drop faster when not accelerating, thus slow down a bit faster, give and take. Initially might increase fc cause your right leg not used to the increased pickup, after a while it will goes back normal when we adjusted to its pickup. Conclusion its pro of increased acceleration strength outpace the cons it brings.

Last time cheap, coz got dough. Now.....pokai liao. So it becomes very expensive.

My budget out by over 20K coz I did not intend to go rent house for a year before shifting to new place. Now have to churn out additional 25-30K for moving to rented place, buy new air-conds, wiring, then a year or so later (if the deal goes smoothly), another moving cost plus reno on place....another 80k. If deal is off for whatever reason (no sign agreement, nothing is confirm), I will be thinking about jumping of Klang bridge. Sure die one coz if I don't drown, I will get thoroughly poison by the river.

Oh deal is on next year, I will be eating bread for lunch for the next 20 years or so. A bit regret giving in to my mom and wife.
