QUOTE(odin140 @ Nov 21 2014, 07:11 PM) You use the bait fish from there also? Or you brought own bait? Also catch redtail ah? I think I won't be going there for quite some time. Seems like everyone catch red tail only, although the worker told me small amount of toman is released and a guy casting opposite me today caught pacu by using lure. First time I go I managed to hook 3 but my rod too soft totally cannot bring the fish up. Then I went this morning with a stronger rod. this was the pacu haha so we kinda met! |

QUOTE(Einjahr @ Nov 22 2014, 11:26 AM) did the fish took your arm off? lol it was a good fight no doubt. Was the first fish of the day. Caught me by surprise. the Ignis is a shallow spool with 2lb -170m and 3lb for 100m, loaded it with 14lb test powerpro pink mango braid to about 150 metres. have fun those at 24 tonight. Wish I could join but got other plans d. |

i have a similar rod as well, 8-17lb 6 footer also. works well, casts practically anything between 7 to 20g. just that i would also keep another heavier one for heavy cover areas.

QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Nov 30 2014, 01:00 AM) The most shocking thing happened today while fishing, literally While casting I can feel static shock on the rod, and it wasnt a minor one, I can hear *pak pak pak* sound from the static electricity while the line was going out, the jolts from the static hurts quite painfully every cast. The static even charges the reel! It went on for a good half an hour or so before the static electricity died down. Damn what an experience QUOTE(cyapd @ Nov 30 2014, 07:21 AM) My first ever fishing gear will reach next week! Been following my dad using his since I was a kiddo back then. Anyway,i got the ryojin 3k n an Expert 6' 10-20lb. Now the next question is when I get the chance to start fishing lol QUOTE(fireHOST @ Nov 30 2014, 08:15 AM) vanish got some problem bro.. ooo...whats the problem with vanish? was using the 10lb one previously. but currently switched to sunlineusing it right now, wish to change to another one.. do u know where i can get it? yozuri HD carbon also ok i think.. |

QUOTE(Einjahr @ Dec 22 2014, 09:26 PM) hey there bros, i need a bit of advice for medium-heavy fast action spinner rods for frogging. I went scouting around at tackleshops in KK and found this... strong rod. if can find the 12-20 even better for heavy cover - the crimson 6"6 rapalero blade 10-17lb would this rod be strong enough to yank snakeheads out of heavy cover and still throw any frog baits far? advice bros pls.. thanks~ |
