You use the bait fish from there also? Or you brought own bait? Also catch redtail ah? I think I won't be going there for quite some time. Seems like everyone catch red tail only, although the worker told me small amount of toman is released and a guy casting opposite me today caught pacu by using lure. First time I go I managed to hook 3 but my rod too soft totally cannot bring the fish up. Then I went this morning with a stronger rod.
*
this was the pacu tongue.gif

blush.gif  blush.gif hehehe. what a small world! when are you fishing again? the owners son and the worker was guiding me. they know the spot for the catfish thats why i keep hooking them up. after 2nd catfish my arm was sore already. i saw you fishing behind the back pumps. haha, you damn rajin casting wei. whole morning till noon i see you cast only. you deserve the pacu! i was opposite when i saw you trying to land the fish. i kena sunburn lol.
*
haha. Probably not so soon as I'm not based here. Might head to EAK tmrw mrng then fly back s'wak on mon. Ya I also kena burn but not too bad la.

i have a similar rod as well, 8-17lb 6 footer also. works well, casts practically anything between 7 to 20g. just that i would also keep another heavier one for heavy cover areas.

The most shocking thing happened today while fishing, literally  shocking.gif

While casting I can feel static shock on the rod, and it wasnt a minor one, I can hear *pak pak pak* sound from the static electricity while the line was going out, the jolts from the static hurts quite painfully every cast. The static even charges the reel!

It went on for a good half an hour or so before the static electricity died down. Damn what an experience  thumbup.gif

shocking.gif shocking.gif wah haha. lightning rod ah! xD. ur hair got rise up?

hey there bros,  i need a bit of advice for medium-heavy fast action spinner rods for frogging. I went scouting around at tackleshops in KK and found this...

- the crimson 6"6 rapalero blade 10-17lb

would this rod be strong enough to yank snakeheads out of heavy cover and still throw any frog baits far?

advice bros pls.. thanks~
*
strong rod. if can find the 12-20 even better for heavy cover smile.gif

I trust the 6"6' length would be just nice to throw all sorts of frogs a little further than the 6 footer yep?
