Not every time you will get taxed. They randomly pick from packages they suspect might contain taxable stuffs.

Btw Tatula R is rm500+ and chronarch is 600+ - 700+ locally. Gonna be interesting to compare both of them. Waiting for them to be in stock first

hearing high praise for the tica cetus series. u might wanna check those out.

Yeah declaring it as a gift or warranty claims works but not all seller willing to do this, especially the ones in US. Not sure why but i think the penalty is quite serious. Chinese side will gladly declare as gift though

Declare under proper HS code.

All fishing equipments are tax free but sometimes, the officers are being an A$$Hole

Not so true on the RM500. Best you call your forwarding agents to find out the HS code.

I have brought in items more than RM5,000 without taxation due to the proper HS code declared.

The last shipment incurred some tax. Mostly on caps, bag and spare parts for the reel.

Some 1 kena kacau on the fishing guides b4..tarak song d.
