Most of the ROM will come with stock kernel. So far only X-Note and Civato ROM gives you the option of flashing custom kernel. As long as you didn't flash recovery and custom kernel, you knox will be intact with the custom ROM being flashed to your device. If not mistaken, aroma installer will work.

I don't see any significant improvement in battery life. Even in developer option I enable standard limit or limit to 4 apps, multitasking still don't work

As of now, he didn't include an uninstaller. The only way is to restore the nandroid backup if you had did before flashing the script. This is what I did as I backup before flashing because I worried his script might cause issue.

Alternatively, opened up his script and delete those lines that got problems

I haven't try civz 2.5 and lean 1.8. Still on yank kernel 0.5. If you have time then test it out ba. Pretty solid and stable.

Fouxhound is nice with AOSP themed by default but there is some slight visual glitches to their theme and their development is slow. If not mistaken, the main developer doesn't even own a Note 3

You need to enable the percentage in battery setting inside x-note control. If you enable it in setting > battery then it won't work.

1. Make sure you have a 4G enabled simple card
2. Make sure your data plan support 4G
3. Make sure you are in a 4G network coverage area
4. Turn on lte in mobile data setting

Haha, it's always like this. Is better than those Honda accord owner when they see future perdana rreplacement is exactly the same design as their car with the proton named with it.

Andrew, can you help some to do some testing? I found that civz kernel 2.7 got some issue with the black color. The black color Iis so awful with x-note aosp theme, especially the notification pull down, setting and phone book. I not sure if it is just me or you also have the same problem.

I reverted back to 2.5 and the problem gone. 2.6 is not as battery friendly as 2.5

You won't have any custom kernel based on ML2 as Samsung have not release the source code for ML2. All custom kernel is based on MJ7 or latest source released by Samsung

Civz 2.8 is really rocking solid for battery life.

Not really sure about your graphic issue but on mine I didn't notice any graphic glitches. But I agree with you that 2.5 is still the best prior to 2.8

In setting > about phone, press the build number few times the you will activate the developer option
