QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Dec 25 2013, 08:58 PM) For my case, under that new custom kernel, I can only take maximum 3 photos under -62.5 UV, then cannot photo taken, and few try later camera will error where only restart phone can solved it. I not UV now and now everything working perfectly. So thats means the UV cause it then? Been so frustrated when the Great Moment pass by and your phone cant turn it on. Edit : Guys, Mind to asked. The default Voltage for 300MHz is 775? 2803MHz is 1180? I need the default scale This post has been edited by BlackKiraEW: Dec 25 2013, 09:05 PM

Thats why in all my years of playing with custom kernel since HD2 days, I have never UV nor lower the lowest cpu freq below the stock value. For me these settings are not worth it. It brings instability and whatever benefits we get from extra minutes of battery time is not useful at all cos most of us would have charged the phone by then.

QUOTE(antt00 @ Dec 25 2013, 12:23 PM) TSF Update today have snowflakes falling animation on home screens. Though not very clear on screenshot. [attachmentid=3784853] I am using Anker powerbank. Works very well and charge fast. Only thing is that the usb cable it gives is not good. I use my own usb cable with the powerbank. Cannot check voltage, have to wait for others. You can remove whatever settings at boot and reboot it will go back to stock value. This post has been edited by antt00: Dec 25 2013, 09:22 PM

QUOTE(prs516 @ Dec 25 2013, 06:28 PM) I have this issue also on my Note 2. I'm using Maxis. Quick airplane mode will fix your problem. Looks to me most of the user having this issue are from Maxis service provider, not sure is this the commonality or not!!

QUOTE(antt00 @ Dec 25 2013, 08:55 PM) Each device is different. What is good for one device can be too much for another. Thats why its a rule to never use another ones kernel setting and best to test your own. QUOTE(antt00 @ Dec 25 2013, 09:07 PM) A stable phone is always the best. Can't deny on this, what work best for me might not be the same for others. Just like everyone said the smoothness of the new custom n3 is very smooth, but for me the smoothness for all custom kernel is more or less the same. But what that kernel creates lots of wakelock for me which impact on my battery life. Currently I'm using yank's kernel which is also smooth and battery friendly. Wakelock is very less.

Getting Started

Hmm... for me after using so many kernels.. faux lean custom n... I found our that the best battery and also stable kernel is the stock kernel ..currently i am using xnote v7 and think that stock ml2 kernel is the best in battery but not performance...
