i use it to take notes during lectures using s-note
use it to jolt down readings from my research experiments
use s-pen + screenshot of a page to explain stuffs to someone via msg apps like whatsapp
use it to draw certain diagrams to explain stuffs

it really depends on what you doing right now, if you're an architect or engineer this would help a lot, if businessman can use for taking down memos etc.

in any case, you can use the s-note, action memo, or papyrus, first page got one link that tells you all the recommended apps that uses s-pen.

don't bring any notebook or pen with you for 1 week and only rely on your n3 then you will learn to use it properly

trace image = hold s-pen button and trace, release button, edit, then simply choose an app at the bar below, example flipboard, then it will say "Copied to clipboard"

go to gallery, choose a pic, press the edit button, menu button, choose clipboard, then choose the image you traced, position it/resize it, save.

phone hang when browsing / searching name in contacts, need to restart it then only ok back..

Hi guys, my Note 3 is experiencing a weird issue which my phone sometimes don't get the Mobile Data (GPRS / Edge / 3G / 4G) signal when I turn on the Mobile Data option in the phone, will only able to get the signal until I restart my phone, any clue on this issue? SIM card problem or?

I had this issue with my note 1 and my fren having the same issue on note 3 and S3. U can try enable flight mode then disable again instead of restart. I am not sure is it Samsung or service provider but so far it didnt happen on my note 3 with Celcom while previously was on Maxis while 2 of my fren also from Maxis if not wrong.

You can try not factory reset first. If you face problem or fc then only factoryreset. I dId not wipe anything and had not faced a single issue or fc so far.

Yes to go back to stock just reflash a stock rom.

I have this issue also on my Note 2. I'm using Maxis. Quick airplane mode will fix your problem.

Me too bought my S View Cover at pasar malam Ipoh... I have no idea whether it is original or not...
I couldn't even distinguish the fake part of the cover itself, it has the real nylon stitching, the 2 contact pins at the back panel and the window works.

BUT IT IS ONLY RM50.

However, 3 days after I bought the cover, the quick window becomes 'moody'.. sometimes it do work but most of the time it don't work. I tried peel off the contact pin from the back cover (suspecting the mis-alignment of the chip) and stick it back after adjusting the position with the contact area at the back of the phone. Problem still persists..

No idea how. But I noticed another strange thing. I suspect the cover window using some sort of electric resistant for it to work. Because if it is just a piece of plastic, whenever the cover could not function, the phone couldnt register my touch through the window. There must be something special inside the cover, but until now I just could find the position of magnet in the cover.

Would be good if someone could explain how the cover works so I can DIY mine...

Just MOP install X-Note V7 rom follow the above Xda Method,

After Install, I factory Reset.

guys...my phone have been working weirdly... Today I use note 3 to take photo. But the phone suddenly off itself and I cant turn it on anymore until I pull out the battery! Third time already~~

Edit : Was using x-note 7.0 with lean kernel. UV -50.

Remove the UV or better yet flash back to stock kernel and monitor.

my wild guess would be uv too much.. from my UV experience with other android phones..

I don't think it is uv problem. I uv -65 and took picture aggressively and didn't face any issue. I only have issue with camera when I'm using abyss kernel.

hmm.. from my experience, although same UV was applied to different kernel, the result is not be the same..
tested with Xperia X10, note 2, and galaxy wonder

Each device is different. What is good for one device can be too much for another. Thats why its a rule to never use another ones kernel setting and best to test your own.

For my case, under that new custom kernel, I can only take maximum 3 photos under -62.5 UV, then cannot photo taken, and few try later camera will error where only restart phone can solved it. I not UV now and now everything working perfectly.
