Track driving is like dancing....you drive to your own pace or rthym...then gradually increase your pace after your get used to the track...you need to stay smooth and fluid through your drive, your steering, gearshift, braking, line....another thing is your mental focus plays a part also....when you are behind the wheel on track don't worry too much about the car behind will catch up with you or worry if you will miss the apex....just empty your mind...picture the track inside your head, your line and drive.......forcing, pushing won't make you fast....

I spoke to the guy that was driving Viva...don't remember his name...after 1st heat I got ask him how he felt then share my experience with him and guide him to go on his own pace...don't worry about the back car catching up...just enjoy and drive...
