yep, but i'll probably just live with it since it's just a small part... wouldn't want to replace and get one with an even worse condition...
*
i plan to replace the screen once they've solved the problem
no point changing it now

Did you go through a service centre?
The minor bleeding is still not that bad, I'm afraid after changing I might get one with even worse problems like staingate or dead pixels. I read some changed 3 times still get dead pixels in their screen after few weeks or months.
*
yes, i went to an AASP here in Manila.
in KL i don't think its a hassle, parts only take 3 working days to reach the service centre and they will take 1-2 days to replace it

Too bad the new MBP comes preinstalled with Yosemite and so far couldn't find any possible downgrade option.
Guess have to wait for El Capitan.
*
if you can find the installer of Maverick, i believe you can do a clean installation of Maverick on your mac that came preinstalled with Yosemite

Mine's cracked.

Retina or non retina?
If it's retina, it would cost around 2k

Ic. I may need to revert to windows 8.1 for my bootcamp if the projection does not work.

So far so good ur mid 2015 15 inch mbp?
*
everything is fine except for the screen so far, gave up following up with Apple in regards to it.
seems to be like 90% of the 15" rMBP has an issue

I throw my macbook resit, still got warranty or not?
*
you don't really need the receipt for warranty claims, though sometimes thats not the case with some service provider.
they might ask you for the proof of purchase

I want to buy extended warranty, so its ok even i don't have receipt for my mbp?
*
should be okay, i've never encounter them asking for receipt.
but theres once someone posted here saying that the AASP requested for proof of purchase.
make sure you get the ACPP from reputable sellers or risk Apple not honouring it in the case of it being a stolen item

Guys, deciding between a Windows laptop with an 860m and slim form factor VS a 2nd hand mid2014 Retina macbook pro 15 inch with 750m.

Am a student going overseas and both have international warranty remaining. I don't want to game much next year to focus on my studies, but I want to play some occasional games like SC2, Dota 2 CSGO etc.

Can the 750m handle those games without overheating?
*
i don't think those games would cause trouble for 750M
but make sure your Mac is still covered by the complimentary 1 year warranty, highly suggest you to get the ACPP if its still covered

Can I buy acpp for a second hand unit that still has the complimentary warranty?

Also,  I might have to bootcamp a few games. Is it advise able?
*
You can as long as its still covered by complimentary warranty, within 1 year of purchase.
I'm not sure about performance on boot camp, only use parallels to run windows for light applications
