Haha. Understood but sadly, Machines doesn't provide student pricing and the pricing on Apple official website is yet to be updated. cry.gif

All retailers will need to wait around several weeks or even a month for the new version to arrive here. The fastest way to get it is via Apple Store online.

But I think the price only eligible for the students, faculty and staff members for the uni/college which the store is located.

I've called up the E-xperience. Their MBPr all out-of-stock. Need to wait about 3 weeks or a month. Therefore, just get it on the online store. Just ordered mine tongue.gif

Just pondering whether to get the MBPr 15" with or without the Nvidia 750m. Not gaming though, but will be heavily utilized in plenty of video rendering and editing in 4k and beyond.

Any suggestions?

of course get the one with the GPU.. else why not just go for the higher spec 13" with 512GB SSD and upgrade to 16GB ram.. besides the quad core, you dont get significant features with the amount you paid extra for the 15".

Noted.
The quad-core is important, rendering time = productivity = money.

Will get the one with the GPU.

*EDIT*

Is AppleCare worth it to get?
