I was there too and had the opportunity to meet with a couple of more mods.

The 3C seems to exhibit a fantastic camera and it was pitted against the Note 3.

The 3C's macro shooting is better, and its front camera has a wider angle.

A pleasant surprise is that the back cover is removable and exposes the battery and dual sim slots. It's a long slim 2300mah unit, and all securing screws are exposed. Easy maintenance device.

Mediapad X1, IMHO, was the star of the show. Incredibly sexy piece of kit.

I will be watching out for it later this year.

Mediapad X1 with its thin bezel hide it well as a 7 incher. Easily slip inside my side pockets

Beautiful n well designed
Excellent display with bright m sharp colors n you wont believe is only 720p
Very smooth emoticon UI with no noticeable lags
Excellent camera for selfie shots with wide angle. Forumer Baronic had compared it with his Note smartphone n took few shots with his DSLR camera . Hope he can post his shots here
Everyone predict phone should be cheap probably in range rm800 n if so is value for money

but why did they remove the lighting for the soft keys...zzz lenovo is doing it, xiao mi is doing it, even asus is doing it... why la just 3 led also wanna cut away~

Pretty impressed with the phone, especially the screen and the camera. Moreover it looks neat. For design, less is more nowadays

need or not oh...those 3 led can take away how much power...G700 has it and the battery life is way better den the S3 or S4...

Managed to get Nova Launcher to run on the 3C.

joytest would attest that it looks good

But weirdly enough, it didnt become the default launcher (no such option, as other phones, when u press the Home button, it'll ask, the 3C doesnt).

The 3C not bad la, got quad core MTK, but unlike the moto g, the 3C has 2GB of RAM

Camera sensor is by Sony. Rear 8mp, front 5mp. Shots actually came out better than my Nexus4

But I can sense some hints of choppiness, but that isn't a major deterrent.

The Huawei 3C is truly an amazing phone. For a budget device, the specs and the hardware truly blew me away after i attended the press conference this morning. Attached below are two important pictures.

1. Screen colour accuracy. Bottom 3 phones from left to right, NOTE 3 (professional photo screen mode) you can see has a tinge of orange, the Xperia Z, which has a strong blue tint, Huawei 3C, huawei's "unannounced" phone, probably around RM300-700 with insane colour accuracy. The screen is the same screen being used by the iphone. The largest device screen is huawei's also unannounced Mediapad, again, great colours.


2. Two devices, the bigger being the note 3 and the smaller the huawei 3C. You can see how the Huawei 3C's 5mp front facing 'selfie' camera totally blows the note 3 out of the water. The note 3 had significant flaring, looked washed out.


3. Not shown by i took pictures with the Note 3 (in 8mp mode for fairness) and the 8mp on the Huawei 3C. Huawei's Sony 8mp camera is pretty decent, but I'm not sure if its a sony issue, was pretty noisy. The Note 3 while not as noisy, lost a lot of detail, likely due to software softening and smoothing. I could see eyebrows in the 3C while those details were lost in the Note 3. However i could see pores in the Note 3, and pores seemed lost in the 3C. I would say its a tie (if both are on 8MP)

huawei, pretty amazing their lineup, and with that kinda prices, i look forward to their devices

Be careful, china sets got NO Google Play Service (Google Play, Google Maps, QuickOffice, Chrome etc)

Can it be flashed with local firmware to give Google Play back?
