I was there too and had the opportunity to meet with a couple of more mods.

The 3C seems to exhibit a fantastic camera and it was pitted against the Note 3.

The 3C's macro shooting is better, and its front camera has a wider angle.

A pleasant surprise is that the back cover is removable and exposes the battery and dual sim slots. It's a long slim 2300mah unit, and all securing screws are exposed. Easy maintenance device.

Mediapad X1, IMHO, was the star of the show. Incredibly sexy piece of kit.

I will be watching out for it later this year.

Can it be flashed with local firmware to give Google Play back?

To some people, it doesn't matter if there are developer support or option to use AOSP or CM or PA etc. I just wish these devices get more love from XDA to develop custom ROM.

I think for now we could only use Vroot, since it is mediatek processor. The use gravitybox to achieve all the customization we need. Stable and continuous custom ROMs are still a little far-fetched for Huawei phones.

I had a go with the p6. Battery life was poor,  there was lag here and there.  Somehow it made me stay away from the mate as they are using the same hardware. The mtk setup on the g700 was much better than the p6 IMHO.

I was contemplating to get a Hongmi,  lenovo or this. For the same price and all are import sets, I think the 3c is the best. Huawei phones are generally stable from my experience.

Haha yep,  my colleagues z1 masuk kilang Coz the micro SD slot flap opened as she was coming out of the pool and I loaned her my g700.  For someone who was skeptical about Huawei she actually said she wants to get one unit for her bf.  Hahaha. Huawei is improving a lot.

Dont think it will be cheap. Few days back , they created beta vmall.com.my and price honor 3c with RM899 .

alright, just a quick feedback on the phone. didn't get to use it much but, i found out that the AP sets have been loaded with a modified rom where there are some bugs here and there with playstore loaded in.

The recovery is using clockworkmod style but in chinese. I managed to obtain the latest rom from huawei's website but i can't seem to load it in as the file is UPDATE.APP whereas the recovery requires loading in update.zip format. So far camera app crashes quite often. Apart from that everything seems fine. Lenovo P780 screen protector seems to fit well with it though.

compare with idol X+ also 8 core (if i not mistaken), which 1 better

GSMarena says Honor3c has 1GB RAM.  Huawei ads says 2GB.
 

Anyone know how's this phone compared to the hongmi? Planning to get either this or hongmi soon.
