Talking about cases, the Nilkin case I got from Satu Gadget is really nice. It's a flip case, super slim and has a wake lock function (using magnet). Only downside is that it doesn't cover the top and bottom edges of the phone.

QUOTE(pokgaizai @ Dec 21 2013, 04:41 PM) I saw that case at Satu Gadget but didn't quite like it. Did you see the Nilkin flip case? I'm using the SP that Satu Gadget did for me. RM15. Didn't really notice what brand it was because I'm assuming it's some generic SP. But surprisingly, the quality is a lot better than the generic ones, at least from my past experience. |

QUOTE(Longshot @ Dec 21 2013, 11:43 PM) Just came back from 1 Gadget and got my Nexus 5 16GB Black Nice to see that you got your phone from the same place I did Initially they told me sold out and ask me to come back in Jan. But lucky told them i already PM them and was advise that there is stock. Then they check and told me to come back a few hours later, new stock coming in. Go for dinner and SMS them and was told stock just arrive. Was there around 9.45pm and there was quite alot of ppl buying phone, a few was also getting the N5. Lucky got mine as I was the last one there. Pretty good service from their staff, kept the last unit for me. They also have the 32GB version but price is high. Decided to stick to the 16GB as i already have a 32GB N7. Overall, quite happy buying experience. How much was the 32GB? |

The video didn't show the process of applying the glass because the video jumps forward at the most crucial part

I think a wireless charger would be useful because it reduces the usage of the USB port (constantly plugging in and out) and also reduces the rate of your phone battery deteriorating because faster charge rate would actually mean lower lifespan.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Dec 24 2013, 11:06 PM) He takes on the responsibility saying that he will ensure every unit is working before sending out, I think that extra amount of money is reasonable. Maybe you should order yourself? Yeah that's good. But anyway, what is your personal opinion of a wireless charger, maybe that Nilkin one in particular. Are you getting one too? Using wireless charger however, is actually wasting energy over a long period of time. The efficiency is not as high as wired. That's why you need a larger input (2A) in order to supply 1A to your phone. Anyway, it's just a small amount of money. Say 10Wh (5V x 2A = 10W) for each hour of charging and it takes 3 hours to fully charge a phone, it's just 30Wh or 0.03kWh. Each kWh will be charged around 34 cents. 0.03*0.34 =RM0.0102 per day. A sum so small that most ppl won't even care QUOTE(tesh94 @ Dec 24 2013, 11:06 PM) Haha, yes it's covered by the shop but I've heard horror stories that some shops tend to give a lot of excuses and all not to send it back to the country of origin for a replacement /repair. |
