I really hope the Rhino shield doesn't affect the fit of my TPU cases on my Nexus 5

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Jan 4 2014, 03:35 PM) Please do so. Btw are you getting any glass protector? Personally, I do not want to get any expensive case now because of the risk of not being to fit into the case with the Rhino glass protector on. Waiting to see what others have to say |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Jan 4 2014, 04:20 PM) Rhino is polymer-based, not glass-based. So I don't think there's any fitting issue. To be shatterproof, you need a flexible material that can damp off impacts. Yup, something tight fitting around the edges would be good to absorb the impact. I'm guessing Ringke Fusion or the standard TPU cases might do?Btw guys, thinking of going for Ringke Fusion over the SGP Ultra Hybrid because it's slimmer and less bulky |

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Jan 4 2014, 06:02 PM) Guys, is this battery performance good/normal/bad? Mostly browsing the net, whatsapping, downloading apps. Yeah, it's there about which is pretty good for me already. Oh yea, and also on WIFI only, no mobile data (at home whole day today [attachmentid=3800427][attachmentid=3800428] Like for me when I'm outdoors I usually leave 3G on and surf on the go, I usually get around 3 hours+ SOT if I am not mistaken. But I've already flashed Franco kernel so I'm expecting better |

DAMN why am I having even worse battery drain when I am sleeping???? Using Franco kernel.
Wifi /3g off, Wifi set to always on during sleep and minimise battery, gps location reporting all off, set to battery mode. I lost almost 50 percent during the 9 hours sleep just now!! Wait a second, my mobile standby seems to be around 9 hours+ which is about the duration I have slept. The description says "Battery used by mobile radio" What? I've already enabled "on Wifi during sleep" so why is this here? This post has been edited by -kytz-: Jan 5 2014, 01:41 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(djlah @ Jan 5 2014, 02:09 PM) install Wakelock Dectector then Greenify it. Thanks I've already downloaded it, waiting for tomorrow to check the results.about your BBS, PWL show AudioMix drain. turn off both Touch sounds and Screen lock sound. works for me. But I don't think it's the screen lock sound at all, it only shows 1 minute of wakelock iinm. I highly suspect the Mobile Standby which is draining my battery. I'll test again with leaving Wifi on tonight and maybe switching to 3G instead of LTE |

QUOTE(barbar554 @ Jan 6 2014, 05:37 PM) I think the Ringke Fusion case will provide better protection. Ultra Fit doesn't really qualify as a case in my book because it doesn't even offer all edge protection. Just look at the top and bottom, it's bare. But the Ultra Slim Fit looks sexy and adds little to no bulk at all. |

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Jan 6 2014, 08:14 PM) Yeah I know, lazy to resize thats why I put in the spoilers lol. It should resize properly based on your browser width if you are viewing via chrome on your pc (forum feature) QUOTE(mansooriqbal @ Jan 6 2014, 08:15 PM) Thanks for the review. I feel like getting ultra hybrid too. What do you say? ur using neo now... will u get back to ultra? or just keep on using neo. For me if I like them both equally is when I will use them both... so thinking whether to get ultra or will it be a waste of money for me. hmm. Ummm according to this... ummmmm the Ringke Fusion seem to be much bulkier than the Ultra Hybrid? I think... ummmm I don't mind sacrificing...ummm... some protection for less bulk because...ummmm because I like my Nexus 5 to be...umm slim and sexy.. p/s: Ummm I forgot something important that I...ummm might not prefer the Neo Hybrid...ummm it's due to it not having....ummm the transparent back...ummmm because I can see the NEXUS logo there This post has been edited by -kytz-: Jan 6 2014, 08:25 PM |

QUOTE(feyrr @ Jan 7 2014, 07:07 PM) Hasn't been launched officially here yet, that's why. Most shops might want to take the risk of importing it except for some like DirectD, Satu Gadget, Seven Mobile (all in Klang Valley) |
