Hi guys, undecided between Denon X1500 and Onkyo NR575. Both are at similar price points, features and wattage power.

My set up will be 5.1.2 (front height) and mostly for 4K UHD movie watching. Which one gives the best  Dolby Atmos and DTS X audio quality.

Hi guys, just need some quick advice in setting up,

Dad just gotten a new DENON (not sure which model) but it comes with HDMI for each channel eg: TV,DVD,USB etc etc

he has a 4.1 alrdy connected to the amp, but when i route the DVD to AMP and then from AMP to TV using HDMI cable, there's video but no sound, i selected the DVD channel but there's no sound.

sorry if some terms i used is incorrect, totally noob in this area, just wanna setup the DVD player for my dad for him to play some old karaoke VCDs

Yes, almost parallel to 600m, honest speaking atmos speaker still advisable to use ceiling speaker ....pls try the demo at show room then you will know the difference

Am one of those from the "impossible to mount on ceiling" gang so only height would work.

Even for this wiring is gonna be a mess hence why am still thinking, for the first two, just where are they gonna be mounted... Decisions, decisions...

Hence why it’s not easy to solve...as it’s concrete ceiling

HI all,

Newbie here, Would like to ask your kind advise for sound system.

I am looking at Sony soundbar HT RT40 and Edifier S350db speaker.

I will use them in my living room ( 18ft x 16ft) for movie and music but  noticed that one is with 600watt and another one only 150watts.

which one will be better? sound quality , Edifier will be better? but loud enough to use in living room?
