Mazda's models HU are mostly sticking out by itself. smile.gif
Many other brands as well.

Mazda infotaiment screen is a real floating screen.

The new Corolla "floating" is not real. sad.gif

yeszzaa.. me too.

i'm a bit old school, but i really like the full-size spare tyre in Toyota models (my Vios 2007 also the same),
it seems that this latest Gen Altis is also providing full-size spare (with alloy rims too, if not mistaken).

was going to turn a blind eye with the RM140k price tag, but then the HU display & bezel/wedge dashboard design behind it is just too much of an eyesore..
*
and i noticed that to fit a standard HU, the floating screen isn't totally detached from the dash unlike other countries, looked at a few reviews on youtube for Corollas from other countries, seems to be a special malaysian design

True that. smile.gif
Nevertheless, Toyota's biggest selling point is the reliability of the engine. However, it would be really nice if the car brand can work on giving better and more premium interior stuff.

Above my very humble person opinion. smile.gif

They are limited providing premium interior, due to Lexus.

New Toyota's have that look on the exterior, but their interior... shakehead.gif

Agree with you friend, nowadays Toyota's exterior design is getting better and better already. smile.gif
Interior wise, how good if they can adapt some of the Lexus design into Toyota Model biggrin.gif

Hi guys, izzit worth to take previous gen Altis? I found got dealer still got few stock left available and they doin some discount to clear out the old stock as to introduce the new version one.

For what I see the new one, exterior is fine but the interior is not that nice looking tho (that stupid hu design) and still using the same engine as previous, price are certainly more expensive than previous one

What do guys think? Please share ur opinion thanks.

How much? If more than 108k, I’d rather get the Civic 1.8s FL at 112klk

Altis price point is always higher than Civic, the new one is priced at RM138k for G Spec.

Toyota's biggest selling point is the engine reliability, dependability, and strong resale value we reckon?  smile.gif
Yes the price point is really on the high side undoubtedly, agree on that as well. smile.gif

This new car has a nice Rev even at 3800rpm and the unit I saw came with Michelin Primacy 4 donuts

honda sensing vs toyota safety sense, are both equally good? Is there any international safety association to test it out and give rating?

I am not sure of Honda sensing...I experienced Toyota sensing on CHR while in my NZ self-drive trip...pretty good.
