Thanks zenix. Anyway which one is better, Nissan or Mitsubishi?
EDIT: which car can carry up to seven people?

i think right now mitsubishi is a good promotion deal with the discounts and free service. because they're japanese cars which are quite common on the road and not very complicated you won't have large and expensive maintenance bills in the future.

depends bro.

perodua alza can carry 7 (2 large adults, 3 medium size/small size adults, 2 kids) but if OKU there won't be space for wheelchair because the boot is the seating space for the last row. It is basically a stretched B-segment hatch (Myvi) to become a MPV.

nissan livina can carry 7 (2 large adults, 3 medium size adults, 2 small size adults) but if OKU there won't be space for wheelchair because the boot is the seating space for the last row. It is at least a C-segment vehicle thus more spacious. equivalent to this but more expensive would be honda stream and toyota wish.

above two are below 100k options, but honestly there aren't many options if you're looking to carry a full load of 7 people with a wheelchair, it is either 7 people or 5 people with wheelchair.

I see. Now it's a shame that Gov give excise duty FOC for OKU buying national cars but the cars cannot appropriately accommodate OKU family.

Useless initiative indeed, I can say.

Completely understandable. Business and politics always run together.

And thank you for your suggestion about Exora, zenix. Yup, Kenari is no longer available as brand-new car. The exclusion of excise duty is only for brand-new vehicles, I recall that it does not qualify for buying second-hand ones.

Since perodua reduce their viva price to below rm29k (viva s) I wonder if it is a good time to buy it or should I wait for viva replacement? Heard the replacement is an energy efficient car. Looking to buy a car for my daily drive to work. Currently drive my old proton saga (1987).

Price is the main factor here because my budget only around rm300 monthly. Got Exora for family car so this car only for work.

If the budget were to be limited to around RM30k for a car, don't mind if it is 2nd hand or 1st, nor make is important however must be an automatic, would MyVi be the de facto to go to? Thank you!

Can only afford rm30k-40k car only. Already own Exora but use by my wife. Current proton because too old, maintenace already too high plus the FC also high. Thinking for low FC car.

Consider..

reliable, cheap to maintain, affordable to buy, with basic safety features..modding potential, spare can be had almost every continent in the world; Corolla SEG (AE111).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_(E110)

Can be had for way less than 30k. You may use of it to spruce up the car, make it more interesting to drive...parts are cheap, both OEM & aftermarket and also abundant.

Mitsubishi Attrage give you 1 year free maintenance and RM7000 discount  brows.gif

will the discount still be available during year end?

Im planned to buy my first car by end of this year. But im still deciding which car to buy and i personally is quite interested in attrage. Been hearing a lot of disagreements about my plan on buying attrage, main reason is cuz of its 1.2l engine...

1. Brand : Not proton and kimchi cars laugh.gif
2. Budget : 60+k and below
3. New/Used/Unreg : new
4. Specs : any
5. Transmission : any
6. NA or FI : -
7. Type : any
8. Remarks : The dp will be paid by my parent and so is the installment of the first year. The dp should be 20k and my 97 wira. Based on wat i felt after discussing wif her, she is more keen to buy a myvi as the installment is much cheaper... But since im the one who is going to pay for the installment for this car after i graduated from my degree, i wanted a more reliable car which can last as long as possible.
