Hi all, I have a budget of 55K+ and so far I have set eyes on a 2.0 Forte 2011 6-speed. Although it is discontinued, but I feel it has more value for the price I am paying(~60k). I plan to drive for at least 3-5 years.
Would you guys recommend it?

If not recommended, I sincerely appreciate your suggestions:
1. Brand : Kia or other models
2. Budget : 55k - 65k
3. New/Used/Unreg : doesnt matter
4. Specs : Full Spec
5. Transmission : auto!
6. NA or FI : doesnt matter
7. Type : sedan
8. Remarks : safety feature. FC not too high. Prefer used less than 4 yrs.

1. Brand : Honda Civic
2. Budget : around 20k or less
3. New/Used/Unreg : used
4. Specs : doesn't matter
5. Transmission : auto

8. Remarks: Considering to change/upgrade from my manual Saga LMST (M) to a non local auto car, so that my GF can drive also tongue.gif Is this a good choice? From Fuelly it shows good fuel consumption, but is it reliable, will it be hard and high cost to maintain? Also roughly how much I need to loan if I trade in my Saga? if not much after trade then I'll pay in cash. Thanks!

1. Brand : KIA Sephia (99/2000) / KIA Sportage (99/2000)
2. Budget : for kia sephia (5000) / for sportage (9000)
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used
4. Specs : Full(not a priority)
5. Transmission : (A)
6. NA or FI : NA
7. Type : Sedan/SUV
8. Remarks :

I am planning to buy either Kia Sephia 1999/2000 or Kia Sportage 1999/2000 in the near future but i need to know whether (1) parts of these vehicles are readily available or not and (2)whether they are cheap or not(maintenance)?
mostly important parts like engine mountings , bearings , brake shoes , air filter , oil filter , timing belt , air con parts , head and tail lights , front and rear bumpers ,grilles , other electrical parts etc.

Also what do you suggest? Are the above mentioned cars good? do they show any kind of problems such as defects or something of similar sort?Which car in your opinion is the best pick in terms of parts availability and low cost maintenance apart from those already mentioned above)
thank you. smile.gif

Hope you guys here can help me out! notworthy.gif
1. Brand - Any non-local brand
2. Budget - 40k-60k, the lower the better blush.gif
3. New/Used/Unreg - Used
4. Specs - Due to a recent adventure, safety is of the utmost importance now. Might not be so lucky next time. MUST have ESC/VSA/etc, and minimum of 2 airbags
5. Transmission - Will get stuck in jams very frequently, so auto.
6. NA or FI - no preference
7. Type - Sedan, preferably

Can anyone suggest cars which fall under these conditions? I initially wanted the 2009 Honda City, but changed my mind when I realised only the later versions have VSC cry.gif Do correct me if I am wrong though. I HOPE I am wrong. My preference - Safety first > Looks + Fuel economy + Reliability > Driving pleasure. Is my budget too low? I do know that the Forte 1.6SX has VSC, but my friend already has it and I am not really keen on getting the same one. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and reply! rclxms.gif

ya, that's my concern also.
Does the price worth to have 08 Altis?
Also wondering if toyota is long lasting enough to have 300 or 400 km with good performance.

just saw this car from my friend recommended 2nd hand seller.
Aim Toyota just because maintenance, reliability and RV.

sylphy better? I'm take note for this. Reason for recommend?

Actually I scared to buy 2nd hand outside as I've no idea how to check it, so mostly will not visit other seller. (I'm at JB area)

But for the price is already can get New Vios J. Shaking my mind.
Before this is thinking to get Preve.
