I see..so panasonic also acceptable in the market which better than hitachi ya?

i heard before recently early Aug from 1electrical shop, said Mitsubishi AC outdoor unit produce noise compare to other brand. and, he recommended electrolux.. rclxub.gif  really electrolux good in AC?? hmm.gif

Most forumer in here recommended to get ME, Daikin or Panasonic.
I think that SA want to get rid Electrolux AC from their store and push sales for it?
Also, most of the outdoor unit generate noise, just the matter it is either loud or quiet.
For Hitachi Outdoor unit... not too loud and I found it's good.

I am using Mitsubishi 1HP air conditioner, for same size air cond, the Mitsubishi compressor is much bigger than the York compressor. As for outdoor unit noise, I find it acceptable. If I am not mistaken Electrolux AC is OEM China.

MHI vs ME both using same name, but both have focus other feature, ME more common in s'pore, MHI still got ppl facing PCB failed.

ME got special design like easy to access into blower and without using any tool.

MHI still same like common ACs, needed screw or call Aircon man come to service and pay for money else

Hi Dayalan

Having bigger compressor any benefits compare to other brands compressor size?

Since you use ME AC, does the compressor generate noise loud or similar to other brands?

Noise yes, when starting and sound like a JET & always speed up, once the temperature is hit on preset and reduce to low speed, for me is called variable speed, when out side is hot weather and generate much higher noise, if raining day would be runing like a snail.

Once at night time will be keep slowly works until next day.

For me at night really quiet...

When switch on power in during hot summer day from the compressor and fan motor really running like jet sound, but indoor temperature really faster cooling down, to compare as non inverter keep the fixed speed..

sorry I cannot understand what are you trying to say. the water hose is still drop as usual. it just that the case will hide away those ugly black insulated/foam from the outdoor and indoor unit.

There is no hose like washing machine to drain outlet pipe, they using water storage tank for keep waste water, once the water is full n indicate for discharge the case, from the big ventilation hose can be sit at behind, if close to window then just tie to window area for exhaust out that heat.

Yes can answer you, of my monthly bill really saving into half.

From non inverter 1hp unit for 8 hours daily with others rest, my bill was Rm130.

After when to inverter unit for 2 units same time operate also 8 hours and my bill just around Rm150.

What u think of Acson Aircon ? Lazada is selling them very cheap...
*

Acson good reliable, long lasting but compressor tends to become noisy after few yrs. FYI ACSON & YORK made under one roof same factory at OYL... So ACSON & YORK same... If for office use ok la since compressor far outside wont be so disturbing, if house better get Panasonic price almost same also. Mitsubishi better but bit expensive.

Your house 3 phase?
*
You don't need 3-phase even if u add another 1hp.
Normally 1hp ~ 4amps
1.5hp ~ 7amps

So your hse ((7amps x 2 = 14amps) + (4amps) )=28amps

Normally a house fuse (d big fuse beside TNB meter) is 32amps, but we can buy a 60-63amps at any electrical shop and change it ourselves, but make sure your cables are good quality ones. In my house i changed it to 63amps and using 2x2hp 1x1.5hp 1x1hp with a single phase... If ur total house amps exceeds 55amps then maybe you can tink of upgrading to 3-phase. To check ur total house current load u will need a clamp meter, and check it at the incoming of ur house near the TNB meter
