You are right. I use the middle route for my Ducky.
Normal cable looks more cleaner for me.

Braided one feel like those Razer, will naik bulu at the end.

Didn't manage to catch that one, only saw the Corsair Cherry MX RBG, it looks really fancy but so far no pricing or when will it be out (rumored to be late this year).
