As long it's not mx black. tongue.gif My big finger prefer something soft. After few moments with red, I need something softer. doh.gif If possible, MX blue or MX clear with spring that softer than red. I can live with blue, as long it's not my main keyboard. icon_rolleyes.gif

blue to me is soft already.

btw, strong fingers helps u also in certain scenario brows.gif

90% of the time I have no idea what you guys are talking about. From a noobie perspective, one major feature that draws me to the Ducky Shine is its very cool LED patterns.

Coming from a wireless membrane keyboard, I am still getting use to the MKB keys which are taller. Using a MX Blue, every key I press gives me a satisfactory "click"!
However, the clicky sound does become inconvenient especially during my midnight Team Fortress 2 session, it annoys the hell out of my room mate !  laugh.gif

Just as I like customizing my own PC rig, I love the flexibility that MKB gives me. My future plan will include getting some of the cool keycaps I seen in this thread and other online MKB forums.
Thanks for spending time to answer my queries!

any way to fix the led 1? might use it future for my kebbie  tongue.gif
*
I presume no more warranty?
If u have multimeter it will be easier to find out if its led fault or not.
Otherwise just tukar 1 led by desoldering the led but first have to take put the PCB+plate from the case.
And then test it out to see if its working.
Another option is to give our abang technician to sort itout for u

I believe that, though I know about mechanical keyboard from Ducky. Well, Razer is MIC and DAS is MIUSA. I didn't see the result will come like that. Haha... And I think, that kind of result will be a marketing point for Razer. Don't be surprise when below statement quoted at Razer website.

Razer BWU voted as the best mechanical keyboard in Lifehacker bla bla bla.

I read somewhere that the reviewer claim he prefer Razer than DAS, though blue switch IMO. I read that review few years back. Congrats Razer. icon_idea.gif
*
the thing is, ppl don't know other brands of pure mechanical keyboard.
u say razer, every tom, d***, harry, ahmad, ah chong and ahne knows.
those who sold their soul to razer, will only buy razer product eventhough their razer mkb's keycaps all berkecai they still say razer the best.

Hi,can you suggest me mecha kb below rm300?
this is wat i found from 1st page:
RM 2xx
Ducky Zero (Full size, local market, ABS keycaps)
Rosewill RK-9000 (Full size, local market, ABS keycaps)
CM Storm QFR (TKL, local market, ABS keycaps) EOL, replaced by CM Storm Stealth

I personally prefer mx brown, i pick rosewill rk9000, but all retailer out of stock...
is cm storm or ducky zero have much difference with rosewill rk9000?
both cm storm and ducky zero good to go?
*
cm storm QFR is TKL, not full size like rk9000 and zero.
and QFR is an obsolete model already.
very very very very hard to find.

zero and rk9000, i can't tell u the difference since i didn't use zero before.
but i'm yet to hear any complains about ducky zero. so i believe it should be fine.
any zero users wan to testify to this? tongue.gif

hi guys, i am totally new to this mechanical keyboard thing, and have never tried one so i don't know how it feels. my armaggeddon ak-300 is definitely not a mechanical keyboard so i am wondering if the difference is really big.
*
we can only tell u as much as the first page of this post can tell u regarding mechanical keyboard's different switches.
the rest, can only be completed with your own fingers.
that is to say, you reallyreally really need to go try it out with your fingers to know and understand what mechanical keyboard is smile.gif

noted, will head to heavy-arms to test some out this weekend. as for durability in terms of typing fast and HARD, are they the same?
*
don't quite get you there hmm.gif

the difference of typing feel is different across the 3 different type of switches, mainly blue, brown and black/red (black and red are the same switch, just that both have different spring tension)
refer to first page for the different type of switches smile.gif
