it's possible to change all except spacebar if the keycaps set has normal mod and tsangan mod.
it's really not feasible if u want to use, lets say for example, raindrop set.
in order for u to change every keys except spacebar, u need to purchase normal kit and tsangan kit just for it's 2 buttons, and u need to spend USD$20 extra >.<
and yet u still can't change the spacebar. that is a very sad situation if u fall in the "want to change keycaps" category XD

Finally made the switch to mechanical KB by getting the Rosewill RK-9000 (Blue) today. Shoutout to HeavyArm for displaying all the MX Switch colors for testing at the shop. Really ended up loving the blue switch (I'm so heavily obsessed with the sound and texture I'm constantly finding excuses to type now).

The red switch was kinda weird. Your fingers tend to 'sink' in as you press the keys resulting in chances to make a typo mistake. Didn't like the black and brown one as well. Blue is the perfect one for me biggrin.gif

woo...more blue love...haha! thumbup.gif

How does clear switches feel compared to brown switches? Tried it a bit before but would like some extended user feedback before I start planning my next purchase biggrin.gif
*
for me, the REAL non-clicky tactile bump switch should be MX Clear.
MX Brown is a lite version of MX Clear, attempting to be closer to linear.

actually you still can customize your razer bwu by buying extra tsangan kits and moogle kits tongue.gif not sure about the spacebar though
*
hmm....probably possible.
use 1.25 Alt instead of 1.5
then mod the stems on 6.25 spacebar, costar stabs is less picky about the fine precision of the stem distance.

supposedly if this theory works, u'll see a small gap between Alt and FN/Winkey.

Which keycaps to get from taobao? I saw KBC ones and their gold/yellow look quite nice, thinking to try 37 key set.

I'm using Ducky Shine 3 btw.

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jan 18 2014, 12:20 AM)
If not mistaken it helps a little to prevent dust go into the switch cover.
*
supposedly have 3 functions:-
1) Prevent dust from going inside.
there was ppl mentioning that after the first time they open up the switch housing, dust seems to be able to get in more easily.
applying sticker helps

2) Makes your switch housing more stable, as in doesn't wobble.
i'm curious to see how it feels like...i haven't personally tried both stickered and non-stickered switch yet.

3) Makes your switch housing looks more sexy doh.gif laugh.gif
My other plan was to get transparent switch top housing and replace them, so it makes the housing looks pinkish...but actually it's only for my own SS-ness since when you put keycaps...apa pun xleh nampak d XD

For the second function, will it help reduce my keys from wobbling? not sure if its because keycaps or key stem or something else.
*
that's what i want to find out...right now i'm waiting for my custom keyboard to arrive so i can assemble them and try it out

Yeah the mockups didn't show legends. lol. well  laugh.gif It looks alright I'd say.
Ahh, the DSA one looks good. Should have picked that instead haha.
If the midnight set is gonna be in DSA then I'd probably get it.

Anyways, I got a little confuse.  rclxub.gif
We need resistors for the pcb to function right and smd resistors for the leds right ?
*
from sprit's latest post, it seems that the first 1 of groupbuy isn't fully presoldered sweat.gif
so which means we need to solder the diodes ourselves or have sprit to do it for you since he offered.
