This is the EMU0404 Breakout cable to Female 6.5mm Stereo plug, ordered by yrh0413. looks nice though.

About silver coated cable. the bass and treble is some how identical to canare L4E6S. but it's don't really show wide sound stage. is sounds more like a SATO cable to my ear.

Fren, i'm using that type of belden for all my production mixer connector/speaker/etc.. for me in XLR combine with this cable is good. This cable more to Monitoring Speaker use. I use Switchcraft with this cable.. seem is better than my nuetrick with this belden.

i can offer recabling service. but if somethings wrong when recabling who should responsible? it's like i won't risk myself for a headphone while i just earn RM 10 for each recabling service....
anyone familiar with recabling service? can tell me how it should be? to protect both headphone owner / the person who doing recabling.

er... not really
if u want, can try silver coated cable. and heatshrink.
but the cable will some how "hard" a bit compare to normal original cable.
u can come over to listen.
i don't recommend to replcae cable IF your headphone/earphone cable is damage.
no point take the risk.
and i worry that one might feel not happy about the cable after recable. they might prefer original one.
so think twice before recable. i also very scared when i recable my koss. (volume control is some how crazy in my case) i want to remove the volume control at first. then i end up changing whole cable, as the internal connector cable for original cable is so soft, i afraid it is not durable after i join them up.
yeah guy, come over my place, then u thouch the heatshrink (1MM + 3 silver coated cable) so u know how hard it is. if u decide to change, that one can fit into your she9500.

smile.gif received your cable this afternoon. Quite suprised that the package was so "well" protected! I had to cut through 1 layer of brown paper, 1 layer of plastic, 1 layer of paper box, 1 layer of cardboard box only i can see the cable sweat.gif Anyway the cable is very nicely built. Thanks a lot mate, gonna test it tonight.

smile.gif Some feedbacks as promised:

Setup:
EMU0404 and original analog breakout
Custom made dual 6.5mm mono male to 3.5mm stereo female (RM15)
PcWork's custom EMU0404 D9 to 6.5mm stereo female plug
6.5mm stereo male to 3.5mm stereo female converter
Altec Lansing ATP3
Altec Lansing el-cheapo RM30 headphones
^ lolz, ultra low budget setup laugh.gif

Received the cable yesterday afternoon, and plugged it on my EMU card straightly after i reached home. Found that the screws of the D9 connector is too troublesome to screw it tight so i took our the thumb screw from the original EMU analog breakout cable and tried to replace it on PcWork's cable. No avail though coz it just won't fit.

Argh, never mind... just stick with the small screws then. And there it goes... i connect PcWork's cable to my 6.5mm to 3.5mm converter, and plugged in my headphones. Oh man... its really sucks! The bass was very muddy and the vocals were unclear. But then i never tried pairing this headphones with my EMU card as i don't have the proper breakout cable.

Next test is on my ATP3. First thing i notice... very obvious improvements! Bass is very tight and the vocals are clearer now. Moreover it manage to pick up a lot of details that i never heard before on those particular songs. I auditioned it in my room from 8pm to 11pm and still i was amaze with it thumbup.gif

Thanks man! Really appreciate this cable! But then... still funding for AegoM blush.gif

Heres some feedback from me too, got my cables on Sunday, sorry posted these comments a bit late. I got the RCA - RCA cables with the canare plugs.

I met up with PcWork in Serdang on Sunday, and we had quite a long chat. You can see that this guy is really proud of his work, he kept telling me stories about the cable, and showing me parts of the cable. He took the cable back so many times to show me stuff, i thought he was going to change his mind and not sell me the cable.. laugh.gif

Anyway, i've been listening to them for the past few days on my Silverstone EB-01 + Aego 2 setup, and i'm quite impressed. If you listen to jazz music i'm sure you'll love these cables. The acoustic instruments all sound much more pleasant and realistic compared to the standard aego 2 cables i was using before. Quite obvious improvements in terms of clarity and details.

i have worked so many part time and i get money for aego m. but for reason i almost finished study here. i can't buy it right now.. sigh sigh...
and brother, ur feedback scared me at first lah. when i read the "underlined" part i was like " shocking.gif OMG, is tat i connect the wrong wire in the emu breakout..... shakehead.gif " and i almost click to pm you so that you send me the cable back. hehehe luckily.... u got happy experience with it afterthat... notworthy.gif

BTW. why u prefer 1/4" female? if u going to use with ATP3. is better to use a 3.5mm female straight away. as the converter might influence the sound a bit.
how ever. if you plan to buy Senheiser/grado headphone. then big plug will suit you.
