received your cable this afternoon. Quite suprised that the package was so "well" protected! I had to cut through 1 layer of brown paper, 1 layer of plastic, 1 layer of paper box, 1 layer of cardboard box only i can see the cable Anyway the cable is very nicely built. Thanks a lot mate, gonna test it tonight.

Received the cable yesterday afternoon, and plugged it on my EMU card straightly after i reached home. Found that the screws of the D9 connector is too troublesome to screw it tight so i took our the thumb screw from the original EMU analog breakout cable and tried to replace it on PcWork's cable. No avail though coz it just won't fit.

Argh, never mind... just stick with the small screws then. And there it goes... i connect PcWork's cable to my 6.5mm to 3.5mm converter, and plugged in my headphones. Oh man... its really sucks! The bass was very muddy and the vocals were unclear. But then i never tried pairing this headphones with my EMU card as i don't have the proper breakout cable.

Next test is on my ATP3. First thing i notice... very obvious improvements! Bass is very tight and the vocals are clearer now. Moreover it manage to pick up a lot of details that i never heard before on those particular songs. I auditioned it in my room from 8pm to 11pm and still i was amaze with it

sorry ya man, but i was comparing the headphones with my atp3. That's why i commented that the headphones sucks so badly. Gonna ditch that headphones tonight

why i didn't saw this paragraph before? If i get your cables just to hook it up with my ATP3 then i would have order a D9 to 3.5mm male. But then my future upgrades might not be using 3.5mm jacks. And 6.5mm is more common than 3.5mm in high-end speakers and headphones... so that explains my decision

At first funding for Edifier R1900T3 bookshelves, then my new room don't have good placement for the bookshelves so tempted to get a pair of Philips HP1000 from Davis... but then i never like headphones so now eyeing on AegoM instead 6.5mm is more "universal" i guess

pcwork, you sure the GS-6 is meant to be used as coaxial cable? I was at Pasar Road last Monday, and i was told the GS-6 is 110 or 120ohms.

as coaxial cable, and of course it won't sound as good as Pcwork's cable
