if that is the case, there is two option. 1, cut off the original plug, and solder it to small 3.5mm plug.

it's ready anyway, 4-5 weeks ago. i was rushing my project, so that i can have 2 weeks gaps for me to back to sarawak, currently i am in my hometown.

depend on if the dock is "open" able or it can fit the cable i am going to use or not.

i think that case u better change sound card.
else to use cable to tame that down. u have to spend really a lot on cable. it's not worth that improvement in this case.
cables makes the sound good only when your source is good enough. it is basicly transfering as pure as possible of the sound you are sending out from sound card.
which in this case. i think aego m stock cable is a benchmark. to test until u find a sound card u like. then u upgrade the cable. you will like it even more. changing cable is sort of enhance the sound. rather than use it to solve problems of the sound card.

if 840 is not detachable cable. then u have to send in the headphone for recable.
no problem for 2 meter extension for ksc75. it will be made by L-2B2AT cable of canare.

it's more refine. and much more accurate in term of tonality. my customised cable. is bright and detailed. but it's not well bodies as compared to VDH.
VDH. u get nice deep bass. thick vocal. and nice treble in together.
while my cable tend to be slightly thin compared to VDH D102.anyway. VDH is quite thick and harder to bend as compared to my customised cable.
however. my among all my customised cable. there's one with not bad sounding. much cheaper price. and extremely flexible as compared to VDH.

u shall change from DAC--> aego . aego -> satelite won't change that much. but from DAC-> aego. u have several options. if u want what i suggest. i will suggest u get RCA-RCA 1 pair VDH interconnect plus Nuetrik profi plug and WBT silver soldering lead.

price will be around RM 550.

i can only make cable when i am available.
lately there's some forumers directly called me up and obtained several cable. or some perfer mini-mini can directly purchase it from YUHENG.
i had placed some stock of cable over his place so he could help me to sell it.
i don't have much time to online as i mostly work in lab, and there is no internet access from the lab to LYN..and i usually work in lab for more than 12 hours a day. though i can only answer call. and i have still around 200 -250 meters of canare cable and several meters of VDH cable which i stand by as stock for sells.

QED is ok. and imho they are better in term of cable that is more upper range. for lower range. DIy Sounds almost the same with them. with much cheaper price.
of course the QED has much better out look. =)

not sure. i never have look at lear earphone before. hence can't gurantee.
my suggestion is. just use it. until it's putus. and can't claim warrenty. then u can come and find me. i will try that time =)
