QUOTE(lonely143 @ Mar 6 2017, 04:14 PM) V-Kool Elite currently is at 73.2% VLT, 94% IRR and 55% TSER I dun mind lower performance but must be high VLT. highest in the market. any security film with highest VLT. I worry about the windscreen. always x lepas. There is V-Kool 75 with VLT around 77% but low performance. The increase of the VLT will decrease the IRR and TSER percentage because more light penetration. The car original windscreen come with 10-20% VLT depends on the brand and model. That's why the officer told you almost all the windscreen did not pass the PUSPAKOM rule. |

Security film usually for sides ? Y windscreen seldom ya.
Anyway since windscreen always got problem passing puspakom, is it advisable to leave the windscreen untinted |

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Jul 5 2017, 01:42 PM) almost all fws tint on market cant pass puspakom 70% vlt requirement. dun mind less heat rejection. How do i get good workmanship reputable high vlt tint. If the fella willing to guarantee puspakom I'll buy straightExample, Honda themselves selling pre-tint car also, their fws tint rating at 83% vlt............then this can pass but the heat rejection performance is lousy |

QUOTE(haverkamp @ Jul 5 2017, 03:32 PM) 3M/Ecotint/SaharaX pre-tint can pass puspakom because the installed film is very light, around VLT 80~90% . pre tint? U mean before tinting? Dun get u. Ecotint has high vlt tint?If you dont mind low performance on heat rejection, you can ask any tint shop install a VLT 90% film for your front windscreen. [Windscreen glass + Tint film] VLT Result should JPJ compliance 70% above. |

QUOTE(Aquanox28 @ Jul 22 2017, 04:13 PM) Hi all, may I know what is the recommended package for a budget of RM1.5k for new Honda City? Preferably compliant to JPJ requirements. vkool house brand not vkool rightI am thinking of applying solar film for front and rear windscreens while safety films for side windows. Kindly advise. I was quoted from the SC the following packages: Vkool house brand - RM1.2k 4mill VLT 70% UV 99% IRR 85% Raytech AX - RM1.3k 5mill VLT 58% UV 99% IRR 65% TSER 40% |

QUOTE(N33d @ Jul 25 2017, 01:18 PM) yes crystalline 90 from 3m ?because among all screen, front WS always has the largest area/piece letting thru a lot of light/energy and you cannot just install cheap dark tint and call it a day as it compromise visibility and safety so the best is find the quality tint that reject the most solar energy while giving you visibility so you can drive comfortably at night |
