I have tried Crystalline 70 /60 for front Windscreen. Now I settle with Crystalline 50.

Many tinted over claim their IRR, so far tested raytech seems to be more reasonable around 5 to 10% differences, others mark up like 30% I don't want mention their name =.="

Why would you so worried about this PUSPAKOM?

V-Kool Elite with VLT of 73% with 94% IRR and 55% TSER
Imagine you putting Crystalline 90 with 90% IRR and 34% TSER

You need to sacrifice on heat portion in order to pass the inspection. We only/might go PUSPAKOM due to few reason.

1. Change engine/chassis
2. Bad accident
3. Selling the car
4. You do some modification on your car (car registration plate included as well)

There are some imported car windscreen reading are below 70% VLT before film installation.

Llumar Crystal should be safety film series? If yes, below is proper explanation
Normally we do not encourage to install safety film on front due to few reason

Front

1. Will create distortion/blur due to windscreen aerodynamic design.
2. Your front windscreen is laminated glass (2 piece with 1 layer PVB plastic)

Rear

1. Safety film hard to install on rear because of the demister
2. The only escape route if all your door is lock

It means comes Jan 2018, all shops must submit their tint to be check and label with 2 barcode. Maybe goverment earn money from here same as SIRIM, Ministry of Health, and now car tint.

Tint with these 2D barcode is official and passed spec......if no 2D label, polis and JPJ can disturb you on your tint during road block

The windscreen and windows from manufacturers do not have standard VLT. The glass is not 100%. So, after tint, the VLT cannot be guarantee 70% ... so how to ensure compliance?

i am thinking maybe they have taken into account of that and approve a tint based on it. so when they approved that particular tint is for FWS, then irrespective to the FWS VLT, it is considered approved. just my thought la.. dont quote me

unless they want your car to be inspected with the tint, then only kasi sticker/ms266. that will be super troublesome for everyone

If they want to control that all imported tint will need to pass MS2669 before allowed to get through customs then it will be a failure already. They should have stopped import of brake light that changed to white after few months exposed to sun 

It is hard to filter everything at gateway. Therefore, the tint, whether get through or stopped at police/JPJ roadblock will be at the mercy of police or JPJ only through visual judgement, including your luck as it is right now. Even now, many car that is obviously cannot pass the permissible VLT still roaming the road without scare    Only when get stopped, they will measure the VLT using measurement device. 

Even though at 50%, when you look through the windows the light from external goes through two tinted glasses. Quite dark already and become quite dangerous to law enforcement 

you can opt for other OEM in Lazada. got mine for RM58 only for all 4 windows.

The new MS2669 as I interpret

1) New film with QR code, as long as product certified is consider accepted even if after install the level falls below the acceptance spec.

2) Film with non-QR code, need to pass after film installed onto glass. Even pass before installed is not a pass yet. Judge together film and glass
