With a VLT of 57% the only place where you can put it is the rear passenger and rear windows only. Not going to pass the 70% and 50% VLT including the original glass tint in the front and front passengers sides.

Vkool Elite for front windscreen, any idea what's the price like?

I think i've been cheated by the shop that claim they install solar gard on my car with all the brand logo sticker on it. But afte i check with the solar gard HQ, they are not the authorise dealer. What can i do now?

Already go to the authorized solar gard dealer. They got show me the original thing and compare.. What should I do if I go and confront them? And what is tribunal court? Any contact?

I installed Llumar crystal 6 but it seems to be worse than the 2 times cheaper Llumar safety tint I had on another car.

Anyway of checking Llumar tint on my car is real or fake? Anyone with first hand experience doing this verification?

I have called the Llumar distributor Tint Auto. But, the person who pick up the call seems to be only interested in doing business and do not answer my question directly. Call them twice and twice also say if want genuine then come to Tint Auto only. But why they list so many other authorized dealers in their website?

Do you think is worth to pay Tint Auto a visit to verify the tint in my car? Any person in Tint Auto that I should speak directly to?

Any idea WHICH BRAND to choose and HOW MUCH for the tint fulfil below requirements...

1. Smart Tag & GPS friendly,
2. TSER 60% or above
3. Side = security tint (4 mil) with VLT > 50%
4. Front NON security with VLT > 70%

Today i Final full Deposit(4 days ago RM1K booking) my Nissan sylphy (salesman say ready 6 or 7th now i receive my plate number) So i have to add Tinting for my Car...   what salesman offer me.. 

1)V-kool Elite /solar Armcoat (warranty 5 year) RM3.3K  i ask why expensive...??? he say Brands and is good (he give me big smile kinda creepy)

2)AGARD Solar Control Safety Film (5 year warranty) RM700 and he say give me Voucher minus rm250.. (he seem to feel i twist his hand for this voucher.. oh i also ask for 2 Nissan umbrella/Shell Fuel voucher/Steering LOCK)

3)i ask about Raytech Film.. i saw Youtube video.. wow! able to survive with so many baseball bat and moto helmet still no or minor scratch!  but my saleman say" hi.. this Raytech is new in malaysia.. and few ppl use it.. do not take risk.." eh so i am okay...  Nobody give me price for this  Raytech film...

**Raytech also got Paint Protection Film... wow how much ??  for Classic/pro/Deluxe package ??

and NOTE: i am noob in this Tinting for car...  and i still not receive my new car..

Normally how much to remove old tint?

Need quote for removing V-Kool I think elite from my 2006 CRV and re-tinting. Most of them have started to peel off after 9+ years.

yea, i was thinking the same also, Prices for 3M, Vkool can easily be obtained, raytech however...a bit tough..

Their TSER seems to be highest also, side and back windscreen..front one..need to go in store to see only know..need to compare apple to apple (money to money) only can see how much TSER/Ringgit it is worth..

rubbish, they just want you to go thru them so that they can earn comm. just get a pro to tint, don't spoil any electronics or mechanical parts you will be ok.

I regretted going with Huper Optik. If you can fork out a bit more just go with VKool or other brands. Otherwise, just cheaper tints RM800-1000. I only have experience with Vkool and it is proven to be cooler at a higher VLT ie. not too dark tint.

THere is anti-smash 4mil if I'm not mistaken, though my priority is only in heat rejection and not anti-smash.

I am still in dillema. Wanted good hear rejection like vkool elite but dun like the way too clear transparent side window.

Is it ok to tint this way

Front - vkool elite
Rear - vkool elite
Fw- vkool security 4 mil
Rw - 3M nano 40

If I'm not mistaken Vkool Elite's VLT is 75%. What is the TSER of Vkool Elite?

Also, which Vkool tint with VLT 50% or higher has the highest TSER ie. most efficient in blocking heat from penetrating into the cabin?

How bout SHGC for the above tints? It will better reflect the heat .
