Was considering the S410p actually. Probably gonna be my choice. But are there any significant issues with this model? Tried looking for reviews online and i could not find much.
*
so far there is no significant issues like the Lenovo Z and Y series do. when problem exists, you can google about it.

hi thanks bro. What is the difference between GT755M and GT750M ?! My friend using one is GT750M. and i saw a few seller also GT750M.

What is the market price for now?! He say he bought 2.8k last year. So im abit confused now cos i saw seller is around 3.3k brand new.

Should i wait for Y50?
*
difference is the clock speed. GT755M is 10% enhanced of GT750M.
current price is rm3399 RRP, cheapest I tried to negotiate is rm3250, cash price.
if you can wait for lenovo y50, you can go for it.

buy a HDD bay, which needs you to swap out your DVD drive.

good luck hunting a laptop with your budget. I can't even recommend one that fits your budget, as you required the AutoCAD to run lagless.

Oscar sifu putochip123 mentioned he has remaining stocks for this one, perhaps you can try dealing with him?

Guys im sort of torn here, i have been eyeing on the illegear rs-15 lite quite heavily and now i found out that lenovo y510p is actually not a bad deal...
Help meeeee (need to choose by the end of this week, helpp)
*
you have a hefty budget there, i will say the RS-15 Lite is a better deal. reasons to consider RS-15 Lite :
- Graphics card upgradeable in the future due to MXM ports
- Decent cooling system
- User accessible hardware for easy maintenance
- Professional look, not so flashy (a plus)
- Good hardware ergonomics
- Excellent aftersales service by Illegear

however, its up to you to consider which one is the best for you.

and what is sshd?
*
its a solid state hybrid drive (or hybrid drive in short). its a normal HDD with built-in SSD for cache memory, just like how the current mSATA SSDs do. since your requirements are too demanding, i shortlisted some that fits your usage normally :

Acer
E1-572G-54204G50k, i5-4200U + AMD HD8570M@RM1699[2.35kg], 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS

ASUS
A550CC-XX530H, i5-3337U + Nvidia GT720M@RM2099[2kg], 4GB, 750GB, W8; colors: black/red/white

Dell
Inspiron 15, i5-4200U + AMD HD8670M @RM1699[2.25kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), 6-cell, Linux; W8.1SL@RM1899

Lenovo
S510p, i5-4200U + Nvidia GT720M@RM1849[2.4kg], 4GB, 500GB, DOS
G500S, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT720M@RM1699, 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS

try at least to pump up your budget and get this :

MSI CX61-2OD-078MY, i5-4200M + Nvidia GT740M@RM2199, 4GB, 500GB, anti-glare, W8

prices are in RRP, negotiable.

QUOTE(cheeloon92 @ Feb 19 2014, 01:55 AM)
Hi Guys, Would like to take in some suggestions and recommendations from some pro . smile.gif

1. Preferred Brand : Dell,Asus,Lenovo

2. Budget : Rm2800-3500 Max

3. Usage : Everyday use for Browsing, light and med-gaming(some online game) ,movies, listen song.

4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14 inch or 15'6 inch

Currently I Did some research and found that both Dell Inspiron 15 7000 and Lenovo y510p quite fit my requirement and I like their design. Can I know which of them is better and worth for the value of money? And What Spec Should I Take?

Or any other suggestion please?

Many Thanksss in advance !!! icon_question.gif
*
let me shortlist some advantages for both laptops :

Dell Inspiron 15 7000:
+ Aluminium build with Macbook looks
+ Battery efficient with U suffix processors
+ Good display
+ Lighter than Y510P
+ Decent speakers
+ Excellent warranty support

Lenovo Y510P:
+ Not so flashy looks
+ Good CPU performance
+ Decent speakers
+ Swappable ultrabay with HDD bay or graphics card for better performance
+ Cheaper

both are the one that best fits your budget but i would take Dell for better choice, as i dont really benefit the quad core CPU in Y510P other than gaming. however, its up to you whether to choose battery life or performance. nod.gif

medium settings are preferable. nod.gif
you can always set to med-high, as long your laptop can handle it.
