It's all to do with viscosity of oil. Viscosity is a name given to the oils tendency to flow , and indicated by numbers. Higher the number,thinner the oil. Thin oil flows freely, if too freely will lose lube protection value. Thick oil does not flow freely,but if it does not get into minute clearances, lube protection is also lost. Thus the oil has to be thin enough to flow quickly into very tiny clearances and at the same time thick enough to provide adequate lube protection.

A chemical called polymer is added to oil to provide protection for both thin and thick situations. Polymer allows the oil to flow freely when cold and prevents the oil from thinning out when hot. 

The manufacturer decides which oil grade provide the best protection for the engine. Recommended for our engine is 5W-30. What it means is that when cold the viscosity is at 5 and when heated the viscosity is at 30. We are not so concerned about the 5 cos it caters for cold climates. At our climatic condition we are concerned with the second number. Beyond 30 the oil starts to get thin and may not provide adequate lube protection.

Then they said my brake pad almost finish left about 40% and they quoted me RM616.25 per pair.. I was like huh..??

Can I know:

1. How much it cost outside for brake pad?

2. Where can we get it outside?

This is due to some SC brought forward the cost of 50k and 60k to 40k service, bring down the cost of 60k. Hence ur 40k is cost higher than others. But u enjoy lower cost at the next service.
The only worry I have is, how they know what we had done on previous service? Would they duplicatr the service? Or they have the record in Peugeot system?

Firstly, I use your method for rear door and then use car key to lock front door., but why one of the rear door still can open?

This is old battery called Yokohama. Manufactory date 13/12/2012. I bought this car on September 2013..
