QUOTE(jiunkei_46 @ Feb 6 2014, 04:59 PM) Thanks everyone for the feedback.. Currently i'm using Kurnia and yes, did bought the windscreen coverage of RM2900 and after checking with Peugeot just now, total cost for replacement is RM3015.80. So means i need to top up RM115.80 by myself... Once u claimed after you top up the windscreen coverage 1 month down the road, you need to re-insure the windscreen again. Cos we can only claim once nia (correct me if I'm wrong). So if you claim now, you just have to pay additional RM116 vs re-insure again which would costs more than RM400++... You still gain leh...My 2 cents.. hahahaWhy i opt to replace the windscreen coz there are two dents already... first one i repaired and thought of replacing it maybe 4-5 years later, who knows today hit by stone again on the same road (Kesas Highway)... argh... As for tint, since the initial is not sufficient to cover, so no choice, tint have to pay from own pocket.. the best part is i'm 1 month away from renewal of my insurance, now, i'm thinking of insured more then once that take effective, claim through that insurance company rather than using the current one.. what you guys think?? Done the 40k service with total damage of RM1,249.80. The total labour charge alone was RM405 after discount.
Major items were changing brake oil, coolant, pollen filter (this SC called it charcoal filter), spark plugs and power steering fluid. Just for info, the total damage for the previous services are as follow:- - 10k = RM 340.30 (Labour FOC) - 20k = RM 504.80 (+ air filter & labour) - 30k = RM 426.70 (+ labour) The other exceptional item was to replace the H7 headlight bulb (RM42.40) which has burnt out 2 nights ago. This time was on the left headlight. Noted it was from Hongrie (same as Hungary?). No wonder it was so expensive. And it looks like any other normal bulb. On the bulb burnt out problem within 4 months after replaced, they couldn't find any faulty as well. They said probably it was due to the bulb that i bought from outside is not compatible with the spec... huh?! They have adjusted the left front door to reduce the gap. QUOTE(cwkhang @ Mar 16 2014, 01:07 PM) My car mileage is 39k, and my car's brake pad is still ok. Got it checked by tyre shop. However, every morning I can hear the brake noise. After some distance, its ok already. Mebbe the accumulated dusts that cause the noise? Anyhow. Like Skyjack said, bettet send it to SC to check. This post has been edited by Pugbunny: Mar 16 2014, 03:33 PM |

Hi guys, I just saw it from Facebook Group - Peugeot Club Malaysia, one of the committee member wanna know how critical mass the stock battery problem faced by 408. Once he got the statistic, he will bring it up to Nasim.
Can check it out here: http://peugeotclubmalaysia.com/showthread....y-Issue&p=16113 By the way, I think we need to pay subscription fee to be a member of the club leh. This post has been edited by Pugbunny: Mar 19 2014, 09:37 PM |

QUOTE(k.t @ Mar 21 2014, 10:04 PM) 2.0 NA. The sound is like the starter giving sound.. And the another sound is the 'tepet' sound.. like the engine is not loaded with engine oil.. Is this happening during "cold start" or after the engine had been turned off for a short period? Mebbe just the engine idling higher to warm up. 2 cents. |
