Does it work for the 100ml reservoir?

since your res is a standalone, you'll need to buy more stuff. gotta check the compatibility I guess.

Weih Lucasss, Chew Yongxian don't hold me responsible for your new found aquacomputer fanboyism.

It was your own doings. hahaha.

Okay definitely on the hit list next year.

That's the "cheaped out" version btw, eco and bare basic stuff. The expensive version is the one where you buy the nano coated pro version of the reservoir with base adaptor, the pump top with sensor and then the ddc.

I want that now! I've decided to get it. How do I get that base for my bloody reservoir?
*
I think you can just buy the pump top and use with the res tube and top cover coz I haven't seen the base adapter sold separately.

Hello all. My rig with updated picture ! Just sharing, specially thanks Shah93 for helping me around ! smile.gif

I faced a problem , my loop was assembled on last friday which is the 28th Febuary, everything were going good, but yesterday i realise that the temperature is going higher , previously idle is like 29-34C but now its 40C+/- what are the possible factor?

I wanted to add a Cylinder res , but im using a bayres pump, how should i actually mount it.
*
What thermal paste are you using, and is there any bubbles in the loop?

guys,

when do u change the o-ring? and where do u buy it?
*
When the o ring doesn't bounce back anymore. Can try asking apes, otherwise have to either find from hardware shop, niclasteoh or import.

Arctic MX-4

Nope no bubble
*
Maybe ambient temperatures?

QUOTE(gxthelord @ Mar 5 2014, 01:37 PM)
Pristine after you guys advice I thought of mounting it this way. Like this it wun fall or unstable I guess? Will use few layers of double sided tape to tape them both down the bottom area. Will be using flextube so when filling up the loop, I'll take the res and let it stay above the pump and fill in the coolant and start the pump like normal, would this way be much better?
[attachmentid=3878773][attachmentid=3878767]
*
Better this way. Use foam or acrylic tape, that way you won't have to use multiple layers and the stick will be better.

Arcylic tape ah~~ will go and ask later at the hardware shop. Is it okay if I stick the foam first on the bottom with the arylic tape first, then only stick another layer on top of the foam to the pump n res? cuz the bottom part is actually not flat. doh.gif
*
I don't think you'll need the foam. Coz acrylic tape is a gel tape and it really, really sticks as long as you buy the good stuff and use properly. Acrylic tape is normally red in colour with transparent gel adhesive. Foam tape is green with white foam adhesive.

no. lol. you'll need adhesive remover/isopropyl/acetone to remove the sticky residue coz like I said, it really, really, sticks.

Aqua tube is right. But not the red glow. The one that's beside, the one that's glowing blue is the res.

The red glow is a splitter block.

Actually the FT-03 isn't that small. I saw it in person and damn it's tall.
*
That's true. The ft03 can actually pack quite a mean water cooled system. It's just that the stuff you need to make the loop work needs to be ordered from overseas.

Custom hahaha. Once I joined this thread the AIO idea got thrown out the window. biggrin.gif

You could get the XSPC D5 kit, but you'll have to get new tubing from Primochill or Tygon as the XSPC one is shite. But thats about it I guess. It's a good start.
*
Tygon has issues depending on batch. Aftermarket xspc tubing is pretty good. Better than the one included in the kit anyway. And waaayyyyy softer than primo adv lrt.

Nooo. Don't recommend XSPC kits please! Everybody needs some Aquacomputer love! pristine

Go with white tubing. Saves you money.

gxthelord but if you're trying to achieve white coolant in your reservoir, then white tubing and white coolant works. Never use coolant below or more than the recommended dilution concentration. It'll be a mess.

I'm using blue tube and blue coolant in my loop... just because I can. LOL laugh.gif rclxm9.gif

If you want your reservoir to show white coolant la. If not then just white tube is enough already. Maybe buy a white colour reservoir. Usually white reservoirs are delrin reservoirs (which are super awesome).

Can. But use some nice primer and spray for a good finish.
*
+1

Also make sure the paint is plastics safe. Otherwise can kiss your res bye bye.

If using white paint, don't bother using clear coat for final coat. Some clear coats end up turning the white paint yellowish. shakehead.gif

On a side note: I kinda confused on what colour theme to go with my rig. sad.gif If everything goes in black but with uv led, how's the effect ah? Previously was using white + black theme.
*
It'll look purplish on the inside. Not a big fan of UV effects for personal rigs. Exhibition rig then maybe.

Not that purplish ba, cuz its not that bright but the effect of the coolant will quite standout if the loop looks great I think. This is my previous build that was sold.

I dun suppose there is such thing as Black UV coolant eh? :/

I don't think black uv exists. Lol. But you can try searching.
