Ya it is inside the res, in fact it is just small matter but so irritating when saw water dropping from there, i think i will try to use those 'white tape' to seal it.

I'm also notice Bitspower replacing with this new version, it should solve my problem, pristine do u have this item?
*
Actually, just make sure your aqua pipe is screwed in tight (not TOO tight) and flush. It'll be alright. The leak you're seeing could just be water splashes.

Bitspower didn't replace actually. They still sell both types of aquapipe. The first one is standard with most of Bitspower reservoirs, called the Aquapipe I. The one you have to buy separately is the Aquapipe II. Difference is that one is fit on the inside and the other on the outside.

My supplier doesn't bring in the aquapipes and I sold the one I bought for myself along with my 80mm reservoir. laugh.gif

I'm confirm is leaking, anyway it is just small matter, i will just let it pass.

U sold the pipe so what you are using now?  hmm.gif

I'm using an Aquacomputer acetal/delrin/POM reservoir.

You can actually use the reservoir without the aquapipe. No harm

Wow, I didn't even realise EKWB offers these kinds of options for delidded CPUs.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/ekwb-amd-...ml#xtor=RSS-998

If I do get an EK CPU waterblock, I'll probably gonna get this to add on to my delidded 4770K (As promised by AceCombat). biggrin.gif

Lol. I posted this rather recently. It's a risk though. You can end up breaking your chip or your motherboard if too tight.

The water dropping from the top will create lot of bubbles, not good right?
*
Yeah, that's the only issue. Check your g1/4" thread, see if it's chipped or cracked.

Must've missed it hahaha. But true also. I'll be running a whole lotta risk.looks interesting though.

It's only worth if if your chip has the ability to really shine without the lid. Otherwise, don't bother. Also you'll need good TIM, else forget it.

I think kitsuna is using the naked Ivy mount.

Yeah true. Prolly need a nice TIM like the Liquid Ultra or NTH-1.

And will definitely try to clock it first. If I'm unlucky and get a lousy OC chip then forget it.
HHHHGGGGGNNN AGAIN GODDAMNIT. But could use a bit of red though. Still proponent of red/black or matte or stealth looks.  rclxms.gif

For TIM, liquid ultra can get from niclasteoh. NTH1 is an option, but check out if you can get Gelid Extreme. I'm waiting for it to be available.

Anyone know where I can buy NB eLoop fans?
*
Performance PC/Aquatuning. No one in Malaysia is crazy enough to stock them coz they're OTT expensive. I have three, I know. laugh.gif

They cost more than Corsair SPs, SGTs and even Multiframes.

Any reason you're looking for eloops?

To use them on my front radiator (240), for push/pull. Currently only pull using SP120's. Thinking adding two eLoop as push. Hmmm... Can you suggest me any radiator fans that available locally? Considering SGT's but who still have SGT's in stock? Other than SGT?
*
Why not just add on two more SP120s? Get from drivenheat.

I can check if my supplier still has SGTs in stock.

Wtf. I think you're looking at aquacomputer's external radiator bracket. Which comes separately from the rad.

Wouldn't that mean you'll have to use the rad WITHOUT fans?

Wah. The one day I don't visit the thread, it becomes a chemistry and physics classroom. wtf people. chill. Debating physics and chemistry doesn't help. You can dump all the heat you want, but water will only take so much and give so much. And if anyone wants to be anal about it, by all means, calculate the flow rates and conductivities of all your components. You'll just end up over the wall. icon_idea.gif

I don't need anything bigger, just wondering if there's anything more efficient than a H220. I'm not so familiar with what's good and what's not in the land of WC, so I'm a little stumped here.

Got to speed up on getting cooling fixed, the Intel stock fan is useless, and the GPU doesn't play well with a 3.5" HDD at the bottom of the case so I'm wondering if I should get a replacement card with a waterblock instead. And the ST45SF-G cables are pretty ehh, may wanna get custom cables and sleeving.
*
QUOTE(Lucassss @ Feb 6 2014, 10:19 PM)
As far as I know the H220 is the best of it's class.
Better ask pristine.
*
Depends what you mean by best in it's class. In terms of AIOs, I cannot recommend anything better. If you want a "proper" kit, then XSPC would be the way to go. But knowing what case you've got, the H220 is the best you'll find. At least the best when it comes down to cooling your 290 as well as your CPU.

Best being coz you'll be able to change the tube, add a reservoir if you need to and add the 290 water block and the pump will still be able to deliver. Also coz you won't need a lot of space for it to work.

HELLO PEOPLE.

Wanna ask, what fan controllers do you use? And are temperature probes really that useful?
*
The crazies here use Aquacomputer aquaeros, me being one of them. Another crazy controller is a T-balancer, but I don't think anyone locally has one.

The more regular brand is Lamptron. NZXT and Bitfenix has their offerings but I think Lamptron is one of the better ones in the pool. There are other brands out there like Scythe, Aerocool, Phobya, Reevan and etc, but the more common ones you'll see come from Lamptron, NZXT and Bitfenix.

Temperature probes, depends what you want them for. More often than not some devices only support monitoring and give out temperature read outs. Some will relate temperature with RPM and control fans based on a factory set graph. On controllers you can program, you can use temperature probes and do whatever the controller is capable of (control fans, control pumps, shut down the system, etc), with high accuracy.

Yup. Crazies is the right term. Hahahhaha. Those are way outta price range. How do you even afford these things.  rclxub.gif

Yeah I'm deciding between Lamptron and Bitfenix, especially the Bitfenix Recon 5. Solid stuff. But NZXT has like a legion of fans online too.

Hmmm yup, some of the higher end controllers can monitor temps and control pumps top.

But must I buy PWM fans to use fan controllers or any normal fans would do? Sorry for the noob question.
*
You save. A lot. Haha.

Depends on controller. Some can take pwm, some can't.

Ahhahaha noted. Thanks.
Hmmm, but for normal non PWM fans, the controller can play with it's RPMs right?
*
Can. Typical fan controllers will use voltage to control the fans. Lamptrons work a little differently and use a method of PWM to control. Can ask infernoaswen since I think he did some research when buying his fan controller coz Corsair fans were picky.

Careful if you plan on daisy chaining fans. Not all fan controllers take kindly to daisy chained fans.

Is it possible to run a 12V USB off the wall? I'm trying to make a 12V USB hub to power my external fans.
*
12v, not too sure. 5v, definitely. But it's all electronics so it's possible. Check out external hard drive power plugs. Maybe you can make something out of that.

haha. Feser Admirals. Those were my idea. Lucassss you really going to get them eh?

YongXian, TFC made pretty much the most sought after radiators before they vanished.
