i'm using Anker. 800mAh or sometimes 700 is from the 2A port. before... i could easily hit 1200mAh as you said. that's why i'm suspecting cable. the original cables are no longer good (dun get good reading anymore), so i've resorted to using 3rd party cables, but have yet to find one good enuff to get me more than 1000mAh.

i'm on 4.3... thanks... din realise it drops... any reason for this? coz before that upgrade to 4.3 (now that you mentioned it, i think its about the same time my readings dropped), very sure screen on could still get me good readings.

Install Galaxy Charging Current app, and monitor mAH when charging. Sometimes when plugged in only 100-200, unplug & plug again until you get more than 500, then leave it to charge.

Have you guys ever encounter random reboot issue? I tried on 3 different ROMS (stock, Wanamlite, Hurricane) and 2 kernels (stock, Speedwizz)

I did a factory reset full wipe with stock 4.3 and stock kernel, still the same

from the emmc brickbug test, it seems my poor notey got insane chip

already remove ext-sdcard to see if there's any improvement......else need fill up inn memory with dummy files to block bad partition

i never install any apps after factory reset till now.....all stock apps preloaded from stock ROM

luckily i still have my Xperia SP around

Ask him to change to a new phone so I get it for free(for custom rom purposes only) but he said NVM.

Hey people mind asking some question? One of my friends are using Samsung Note2 N7100 rooted device. Recently his mobile been updated to the latest 4.3 and the phone is now cant me turn on. I tried do factory reset , clean cache and dalvik cache, i tried flash DN3 Rom still not loading up until i boot to Odin mode , i found that the screen shows up

Any solutions ? It seems like the newest rom 4.3 has triggered the anti downgrade system. And injecting CWM or TWRP not working too. I tried to flash factory rom still stuck over samsung boot logo.

Not sure about the Samsung IR port...
Based on my pass experience on pda-phone (HTC on WinMo) IR port, it is actually more dependant to the software than hardware.
Hardware-wise just receive/transmit universal, industry standard IR signals. Software handles most of the function, and a long list of supported IR-electronic device brand/model....otherwise use "learning"-mode for non-popular china-made IR devices. In that case it cover all the IR devices that you see in the market. Pretty cool.. 
Should be the same in android space, should be dependant on the apps' maturity.

It is great that samsung is bringing it back.. 

Sony is like samseng too.. Ezy to flash..only need to backup the ta partion 1st if want to claim the warranty incase anything happen...Bcoz of the boatloader on Sony is locked too...but without unlocked also can root and flash but still limited compare to unlocked version..
