you need to press power button + vol up to do hard reset. no need to wait until the battery die.

for z1, you only need to press the phsyical hard reset button.

My ROM's from Dr. Ketan, I already on MJ5, just need to flash SD write error fix. If you use Titanium BackUp, need to install TB Restore Fixer from Play Store for the restored app to work without fc.

The stock rom's 4.4.2 kitkat doesn't really changed much compared to the 4.3 we had now...(In terms of the UI)
Pretty disappointing I was expecting the UI to change to be something near like the S5.

How if knox flag tripped?

What I know is warranty void, not reversible,  no knox features,  but what im not sure is...

Some ppl say you will be locked from installing newer knox enabled roms for example upcoming 4.4 stock rom

U cannot get update from OTA  cannot flash newer stock roms with odin

Is that true?  But got some ppl in xda said you will still able to flash any newer knox enabled firmware no matter what, just your warranty and flag still remain void and no knox features only

And is there any other cons for knox flag tripped that I dont know?

So lets say I wanted to root my current note 2 4.3 stock
I rooted it, tripped the flag, no longer able to use knox features (dont care actually)
So im on rooted stock 4.3 now

So if 4.4 stock is released, how do I update since odin no longer usable ?

Anything else that may give me troubles with this knox bootloader I got from stock 4.3 update?

And will I have any problem if I want to move to any custom roms? With this knox bootloader

no longer under warranty, still remain stock 4.3 and knox not tripped

wanted to have phone root but keep the stock 4.3 rom, will update to 4.4 when it comes and look for root method for 4.4 later

ROM is the firmware , same as some users referred to the " phone " as the " device "

Some facts about KNOX status:
It isn’t possible to downgrade to KNOX-disabled firmwares/bootloaders (An attempt sets 0×1) (even though some people state, downgrade is possible when omitting the bootloader file in a firmware package). By downgrading from KNOX-enabled to KNOX-disabled firmware, your devices will be locked to installation of newer firmwares.
