Waiting for Kitkat for note 2....end of march/april

While using 4.3 I can say it makes the phone laggy.  That one of the reason I switch to note 3.

When note 3 now have 4.4 there so much complaint about problem they face.

Even my note 3 running 4.3 I also feel its not butter smooth like note 2 on 4.2

Yes note 3 need to root & install custom rom to get the smoothness of KitKat. 

Haven't come here in a long time.
Any new custom Rom for Note 3 features you guys recommend?
Except DN3. Phoenix rom good?

i try it before, reset back to factory setting does give me a few days of good performance..but after 3 day, things happen again. I didnt install anything except FB and instagram, then ram usage just clocked around 70-80% and even near 90% for no reason...have to clean ram every time to go smooth

then i flash in AOSB 4.4.2, on normal usage, it only took around 500mb ram out of the 2gb ram

Encounter problem on wifi.. Suddenly no connection,neees to on off wifi to connect again.. after update to latest android last months.. How to fix?? Thx..

i got experience using TWRP before.  Last time i used it using the Note2 toolkit but now no more support for it. so i will try to root again by flashing TWRP and then flash custom rom. hope its works. finger crossed.

guys need ur expertise here, previously i flashed my software to 4.1.2 Poland version (itchy butt coz malaysia havent release)..

now my device cant do OTA update... how do i flash it back to the malaysian verson?

got problem. can't flash TWRP recovery. Odin will crash when i click start. now stuck and don't know what to do. phone still working but counter had change to 2.

I just would like to know if EMMC replacement is the best solution for SDS, or it will recur again in the future?I just feel that it is not economical if I spend RM500 for the repair but can only use my phone only 1 year.

most of you should have known Galaxy S3 and some Note 2 users reported these phone kill microsd cards

mostly sandisk microsd were killed, and some other brand
even though sandisk admitted that they got batch of cards have manufacturing problem

ok now.... my sis had a Kingston microsd on her s3,it's almost a year, her phone start having difficulties to read photos and other media files, or not showing on gallery at all, or unreadable sometime

it still readable on pc with card reader, so i backup her data and format it, well few photos were corrupted

after format and copy the data back,  it's working fine again, but then weeks later, same problem back, this time more files were corrupted compared to the last backup data, then i google for info, just know about s3 note2 would kill microsd, mostly sandisk

my sis card is Kingston brand, so i give it another shot, this time i put it on my note 2 to use (my note 2 doesn't have micro sd yet) and it works just fine,  few days later it started un-mounting and mounting itself and finally sudden died itself few hours ago.

totally not detectable on note 2, my optimus 2x, and even on pc with card reader, now the card is officially dead

just wondering if anyone of you note 2 users, also s3 user have microsd killing problem?

and what microsd you guys use? 
I'm getting my own microsd card for note 2 soon, but really no dare to get sandisk, Kingston

I've read many articles on internet that if microsd card dies on these phones, usually the card itself not really well made, it might not die on other phone and devices, but will still die on some devices like s3 and note 2. the problem is the card

just an extra note, my bro in law's black note 2 use his sandisk microsd bought from Taiwan just fine, so far no problem

then you go ask him to trade with your Note 2.
Actually Note 2 is like the best phone to me in the Samsung Galaxy series because it is highly customisable with its wide range of Custom roms and Knox Free.
Just reflash it with custom rom and you would be fine with it for at least 2 more years.

Dear fellow seniors, may I know what can we deduce if the phone battery is  charging very slow with direct charge from 3-pin socket, approximately 800, monitoring from Galaxy Charging Current whereas my family members charged their phone with the same charger, is faster than mine. Kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

recall reading somewhere that for charging... the USB will somehow check the connection type, 'negotiate', and then settle on the current that will pass thru...

one issue i have with powerbank charging is that usually, first few weeks, the cable that comes with the powerbank is still good... can charge almost 2A (as per powerbank). however, later on... the current will drop...

right now... i'm only getting 800mAh even though its on the powerbank's 2A port. different cables will give me different results. i noticed shorter cable is much better.

anyway, using the GCC, i noticed when i first plug in... the current reading is 1800mAh. then... after 2-3 seconds... it drops to about 700-800mAh.

i'm wondering... is there a way to force the charge to be at 1800mAh? anyone got any success getting about 1400mAh (or more) from a2A port on a powerbank? what model? what cable?
