Personally I prefer the dark keyboard of the Note 2.

For my Note 3, I'm also using the same dark keyboard on rooted stock MJ7.

I find the white too garish.

Yeah v28....can we hit v30 before it fades into oblivion?

Ouch. I dont have any plan to get Note 3 yet. But I will get Note 4 end of next year biggrin.gif

I believe Malaysia Belum Boleh dapat......current 4.3 is India for now.

If you're impatient get it from Sammobile. Otherwise flash a custom ROM with Note 3 features. I'm using Ditto Note 3 and it's good enough of a Note 3 clone for me.

See v27 posts from chuahcs79, he flashed a lot of ROMs in the last 20 pages. So has jun88.

My bad... after trying out Dasko version, I find that it lack Handwriting settings.

So you need to do it manually if you wanted to.

First, goto Application Manager, clear cache and data for Samsung Keyboard and Resources Manager.

Then replace the :-

1. Samsung IME apk in /system/app
2. libloadstyluscore.so in /system/lib
3. libstyluscore.so in /system/vodb/lib

With the one extracted from v3... then you will get setting for Handwriting and gestures. Remember to change permission to RWRR. Reboot.

If you dont need them, then just flash Dasko version.

I think they mod it to dark too for Note2 but the handwriting is so hard to use now. A bit like Windows handwriting.

Try WP8 then...

Personally, after having 2 iPads, 1 iPhone5, Note1&2, 2 Nexus 10, I do feel a bit boring with all. Even go a 808 for camera purpose. Wanna give WP a try. I was hardly impressed back then with Lumia 800 but now maybe can give a shot

if prefer iphone style simple and direct = MIUI official V5 ( 3.11.22 )

if prefer note 2 but pack with Note 3 features = DN3 V3.1 rom

if prefer tons of tweak + customization = phoenix rom / wanam lite / dr.ketan and etc etc so on,.

but if u prefer simple and happy with 4.1.2, = Adndroid revolution rom ( base on 4.1.2 which currently i am using,.. it is the smoothest ever rom,.. even more smooth than MIUI,.. ) ..

always back up your previous rom in full backup

then always wipe with Android_Revolution_HD_Super_Wipe_Note_2 before you start to flash another rom, confirm nothing will go wrong,.. thumbup.gif

I feel like not using Samsung ROM for Note series is a wastage. All those features went down the drain and S Pen become just like any other styluses.

that;s how i feel sometimes, but those base on 4.3 , basically most rom is eitther lag here and buggy there,.. nothing is complete stable, rock solid like previous 4.1.2,..

i would throw all note 3 features in my note if the current rom is as 70% stable as 4.1.2,..

those are my personaly opinion only,.

the yeah is much smooth than official MIUI, for me in my own usages,.. notworthy.gif

yeah, those note 3 features is bit heavy , plus i dont really use all of them,.. so it is kind of like a waste to install all of them and didnt use it,.. it make my phone bit laggy,.. just not as fast as without it

Hey guys my father using a note 2 & he is going overseas again, may I ask what does he have to turn off to avoid getting a masive bill again???

just turn off mobile data in notification, unless u have unlimited roaming data plan,.
otherwise always make sure mobile data is never on,..

did downloaded, not yet flash,. will flash it probably tomorrow after finish tested this current ARHD rom one full day tongue.gif
