Bring both lens, you won't regret! Both lens a great for CF, last CF I brought a 16-35f4, 35f1.4, and 70200f2.8.. Its heavy but I don't mind!

I don't have a camera bag, so might be an issue for me to bring a flash gun + 2 lens.. sad.gif still deciding want to buy crumpler or not.. hmm.gif

QUOTE(copperwire93 @ Dec 4 2013, 06:19 PM)
In a nutshell, people say non-vc is much sharper than the vc one, but vc surely can help you to reduce camera shake especially in lowlight situation. But, maximum 50mm is enough for you to make do without VC. Hence, the choice is yours. Hehe! That's all I can advice. sweat.gif
*
I read that too.. the older version is sharper.. but I have a shaky hand sometimes... maybe wait for a while to pump more $$ to get that sigma 17-50mm, but boy it is a heavy lens.. Dilemma..

is this a good buy? have no idea whats the pricing of the memory card, but I do need a larger capacity and faster speed card than my defult class 6 8gb~ whistling.gif

Hi sifussss,

Sigma 17-50mm better or 35mm f1.8 better in a event such as comic fiesta 2013 in KLCC? because it is not full in-door nor full out door, not sure which lens to bring. Too lazy to bring both, just a simple setup with flash gun and shot.

Just want to write blog about the event, not those apa apa photography page you normally see on fb that with superior lightning and such. But still quality photo is still the main factor.
*
if really need 1 only, get the 35mm 1.8 la.. the last event i went to animangaki..95% i used 35mm.. light n sharp.

QUOTE(jepertine90 @ Dec 4 2013, 02:07 PM)
nono, already have the sigma.. is my friend one, just not sure to tumpang that sigma or bring that 35mm..  tongue.gif
is tamron 17-50 better than the sigma? because in future, may be after Chinese new year(angpao ftw) might get one of these lens. I love the kit 18-55 but the f3.5 and the sharpness is a bit let down when shooting in-door..  cry.gif
*
tammy 1750 is best among them(third party 1750)

QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Dec 4 2013, 05:09 PM)
Haha nice!! Keep up the good work!  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif
I'm also thinking of getting a Macro lens but not to shoot insects tongue.gif More on wedding bands and rings! biggrin.gif
Lol!! Nice catch!! I don't think this is in Miri right since Miri is not an international airport
Don't worry, we all learn from each other! That is where the fun begins!

Which Crumpler? The million dollar series? I was in the same scenario as u months ago, but in the end i got the ThinkTank Streetwalker Pro. Now targeting Lowepro Transit Sling 250AW. I would prefer the Lowepro over Crumpler any time icon_rolleyes.gif

I bought the same exact SD card cheaper. Why not try any local camera stores at ur area? laugh.gif

Crumpler Heaven(M) + Crumpler Barney Rustle Blanket, I'm not purely looking for a camera bag.. I looking for a bag that can carry my camera gear + ipad + other stuffs... I travel alot for vacations.. so water resistence + can carry water bottle, passport, ipad, DSLR, etc is a huge bonus tongue.gif There's many sling bag offer that too, but during travel sling / backpack is dangerous due to pickpocket. Messenger bag can easily slide to front and hug it. The sling I'm interested is the Crumpler Enthusiast..

Any recommendation other than crumpler to fit my needs? rclxms.gif rclxms.gif drool.gif

I might get it from the local store when I get my 35mm this weekend.. brows.gif finally a prime lens!!

Edit : that Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW not bad leh... how is the price? if significant cheaper I might get this instead of the crumpler combo~

I did do some research while back to search for 10 stops ND. Hoya is a good one too, but some people said BW is better. But those are too pricey for me. Now I'm aiming for second hand Hoya HMC ND400 instead, only 8 stops but I don't mind.

Thinking to get a portable drybox too, any specific model for a newcomer? blush.gif
I always move so need a portable one.

all your photo use that tamron right? looks sharp!! drool.gif drool.gif might be getting this, extra Rm200-300 might worth the price to compensate my shaky hand.. thanks for the feedback!

edit : just checked your animangaki photo.. those looks amazing how come mine doesn't as sharp as yours even using the same lens? PP? or my setting is wrong?

Not sure about the price yet.. Still a pretty new model. It's bigger brother the transit backpack 350AW sells for about RM490, so roughly i guest the transit sling maybe RM300++ icon_idea.gif

Even when u turn of the VC? I personally think that there will be no probs using without VC since the range is consider quite wide nod.gif
