Bought back D700 last week at hong kong for cheap price.
I have it back in 2011 for aeroplane shooting but sold it after i went to study.
Now rejoining again kakaka.

Has anybody tried 70-200 F4 VR ? The price is about the same as 2nd hand 70-200 F2.8 VR1.

Any opinions?

I am an outdated hobbyist.
I stopped digital after that.
Then I shoot film all the time.
Kinda new to so many things right now.

Even shocked that Nikon has 70-200 F4 VR laugh.gif
I think this lens is pretty new and I don't think general kaki will choose the F4 VR over 2.8 VR1

Consider tamron's new 70-200 VC instead. AF and sharpness is on par with Nikon's own. icon_rolleyes.gif

edit: All that for about the same price of the 70-200 F4 VR as well laugh.gif

Side question, was cleaning my lens normally until butt itchy I went to shine it with LED torch... many micro dust -.- not able to clean them off T_T. Wipe this area clean, other area have. But then without the light I won't see them.

Question is how do you guys clean your lens? I used lenspen, it leaves black dust charcoal particles, use Zeiss swabs, also have dust left over ._.

Damn jelly your lens collection sifu haha notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
I've never really tried shining with torch, but I do noticed that a used (not 1st time) lenspen or microfibre cloths will sometimes add more dust/microparticles onto the lens as you clean laugh.gif

Have to use blower to blow them off...

But seriously sometimes I wonder how dust got into the inner lens even when a UV filter is used sweat.gif

Please give me some comments so I can improve. I would love to hear how I can improve on composition and lighting.
