go ahead.

not copyrighted anyway.

compared to a bulk waste room which could potentially be:
1. uncivilised people leaving their thrash unattended properly
2. lapse of time until cleaners clears it
3. time and labour involved in manually removing all those waste

i think the system is more beneficial in the long run.

the underground system is depicted in the website but the places i have visited actually is fully exposed piping. i.e. the bin being at grade level and all pipes on are installed above it. therefore maintenance can be easily carried out.

anyway system is designed to handle only limited size waste and not meant for the bulk refuse.

cool stuff.

Not a fan of the garbage chute, as those in older condo/apartment stink like hell. As the garbage bag may be torn and the food waste will stick onto the chute. Worst when there are tenants just throw food waste into the chute without proper bag!!

No doubt is a good system, but may fail with bad selfish mentality.

boss, what you say also applies to the bin in refuse area concept wor.

anyhow, the system (if it's vacuum type), is suppose to be airtight. hence if rubbish stuck within the pipe and smelly, the smell should not escape from the hatch.
just in theory nia.

but in reality, yeap, potentially got problem.
but again, the problem could be equally bad if not worse if it's the conventional refuse area on each floor.
